Good point there and obviously I don’t know because I’m not D but that’s a good point there. Who knows, one of us will have to ask him. Lol the answer I hope he gives is that he said it to drive engagement because then would know that he at least knows a little bit about this game of football.
 
Very good prospect. Not generational. In a perfect world, he stays another year. More of a first-round pick than a #1 overall right now.

Darian Mensah's QB Rating is currently 228.23.

Arch Manning's QB Rating is currently 141.3.

Funny enough, if Darian Mensah threw 27 interceptions on his next 27 attempts, his rating would be EXACTLY 141.3.

So, if Mensah goes 0/27 on Saturday night with 27 interceptions, he'd have the exact same rating as Fartch Manning.

According to this calculator, it would take 27 straight INTs to match nepo nephew’s QB rating

It will be interesting to see where these QB’s come out at draft time.
This is supposed to be “The” class with somewhere between 4-7 first round QB’s. For those teams in need at the top of the draft, I would be very nervous.

Arch is incredibly flawed, I think one of the most overrated QB’s, maybe ever. The Manning name is doing all the heavy lifting.
The rest are all pretty speculative picks in the top 5.

Before the season, you had Arch listed as one of the top 5 players going into the 2026 season. You had Toney, Jeremiah Smith, Colin Simmons, Arch, and CJ Carr...and you even said "in no particular order" meaning Arch very well could be your pick as the best player in college football which would CERTAINLY garner him #1 overall pick and a generational talent. But now he's downgraded to simply a first round pick. Only matter of time before you have him as a 4th rounder (and that might still be too high).
