What did you expect with the roster we had this year? Have you seen the bums we've trotted out as an O-Line? I seriously don't understand how anyone could be so delusional that they think this team was supposed to magically win the coastal with the amount of weak talent we have on the roster.

only idiot fans who think th is team has national title type talent think this team underachieved if anything they overachieved losing close games to fsu and unc prior to injuries catching up to them and losing the nd and vt games only to bounce back with 4 straight wins.

ill admit I was hoping for 10 wins but coming in I thought this was an 8-4 or 9-3 team , I thought if things went there way could beat fsu and get to 10-2 but things didn't got there way. **** guys like stewert mandel and others had Miami winning 4 or fewer games. this team has some serious depth issues. we don't have the talent or depth that fsu and unc have, even vt had more depth then us. the truth is people don't give any credit to fact this team is operating at 80 scholorships , that and golden specials mean Miami has some serious depth issues.

depth is what gets your through a tough October like Miami had. no one outside of fans with delusional expectations expected more then 8-4 or 9-3 no one.

Have you seen their O Line? How is that inferior talent? We literally have maybe 2-3 serviceable OL on our entire roster. Kaaya got mashed throughout the year and the VT QB didn't. Fuente inherited a veteran team recruited and coached by Beamer and Foster and our guys inherited a thin team recruited and coached by Golden and D'Onofrio. Are you really going to try and tell me that Golden and D'Onofrio had a better eye for talent than Beamer and Foster? Really?!?

Oh, hey. Someone with some sense. Yes, this team was operating with something in the ballpark of 65-70 actual scholarship football players available to play. That's ridiculous. And yeah, a lot of those guys were given scholarships because Golden missed on recruits and brought in warm bodies to fill his roster.
Let's make no mistake, this roster was completely destroyed by the previous staff and will need a complete overhaul. It's not happening in 1 season.

The FSU loss obviously could've gone the other way. Who knows what would've happened if the PAT is made?

The UNC loss was completely on the officiating. The bobble in the back of the end zone was reviewed and still not overturned. That was as bad a call as it gets. That game gets played differently in the 2nd half, in the rain, if that call is overturned.

VT absolutely destroyed us.

The Notre Dame loss should've never happened. There is no excuse for losing that game other than being completely unprepared.

This team, very easily, could be sitting at at 10-2 if they get a break, or two, along the way.

How tf is Pitt ranked ahead of us?

I get they beat Clemson, but they literally gave their Defense the day off yesterday in what could mistaken for a Big 12 audition, and we beat the brakes off of them to begin our season ending 4 game win streak.

Just another reminder that if we ever our to return to the pinnacle of college football, we cannot show any mercy bc they will NEVER give us a break or the benefit of the doubt. We must absolutely destroy, loot, and pillage.

I hope Richt is up to the challenge.

Its simple mane, winning big games outshines bad losses at the end of the day. Who have we beat? If we were 8-4 right now but had beaten Clemson, the hype around us would have been strong as fvck.

Try looking at the performance on he field. If I was a VT fan, this is when I'd simply say "scoreboard." How about all of the dudes that have either transferred, been kicked off the team, or were just busts? The age old adage is that recruiting rankings don't mean **** if guys don't make the leap. Do you still think some of those bust 4 stars are elite talents? If not, then why are you relying on recruiting rankings from years ago when all you need to do is look and see what they did this year?

Our OL is full of JAGs and busts and no recruiting ranking will change that.

It isn't just the recruiting rankings, which are greatly inferior to us, it is and will be how many of these guys make the next level. Just watch the NFL.
