Anything other than 10-1 is a failure at this point

Well how's that Vtech game looking now?

We are ranked higher than everyone left on our schedule.

the problem with Miami isn't that we can't beat Clemson. The problem that has been present for 15 years is that we lose to teams we are supposed to beat. (duke, FIU, La Tech. etc)

We need to finish 10-1 and beat all these crappy teams ahead of us... anything less is a failure.

just looking at the rest of the schedule it's mostly coastal teams left along with Wake and the Wolf pack.
There is literally nothing special left now that UNC was exposed by the worst FSU team in our lifetimes.

Can someone explain to me why the ESPN PFF projects VT over Miami?? VT can't even figure out who wants to play QB there.

We should easily win out and then either the ACCCG or a high tier bowl game.
13 players out

The defense is crap,....the run game could be better, and our WRs leave too many plays on the field.

Getting to 10-1 would amount to sheer luck.

10-1 is doable, but think we lose to Wake or UNC.

Not because they are better, but because it's football. We're going to have a bad game somewhere
There is always a chance we can lose "because it's football".
But something that is encouraging is our Defense is stepping up when they need to most.

The teams left on our schedule suck on Defense.

Miami will have to score 40+ to beat Wake & UNC. Can it happen, sure. Will it happen, not likely
Sounds exactly like what people were saying about the Hokies.

How long did it take you to come up with these multiple scorching hot takes?

Considering how weak we've been in the trenches for the most part I wouldn't be upset at all with a 9-2 finish. I don't like how we match up with UNC but it'll be a home game & maybe we show up and pull a W. What's more important IMO is avoiding complacency and making some defensive staff upgrades at seasons end in spite of a good record, no reason or excuse for baker & rumph to be back next year.

We've had a bunch of games that were good in some parts of the game, bad in others. We had one game that hit on all cylinders (FSU), and one complete mess (Clemson).

The rest were a mix. Which is what pretty good, but not great teams do.
