Not saying I believe this, but it's not that far-fetched.

Richt has never seemed comfortable or happy at Miami. You can tell from his interviews that he enjoyed Athens a lot more than he likes South Florida. If, say, UM is forcing him to fire his son.... which is not far-fetched given how poorly the QB's have played.... that might be enough for him to say "**** it" and step away.

That said, unverified twitter rumor = probably bull****.
