I know There is no god because I prayed that Mario be given ability to clock manage and yet here we are

Yeah, it’s called the corrupt BoT and Admin.

When was the last time that the University of Miami underwent a professionally run, nation wide search for a proven/winning head coach, and identified and hired said head coach? It’s been 2 decades at this point.

$8 million/per year for 10 years for a King Corch. There is your answer. It’s not a “curse”, it’s gross mismanagement to an almost criminal degree.
I honestly think it's both. Cursed for tearing down the OB + gross mismanagement by the [deleted] Mafia and here we are.

Benson, Coleman, and Bell on offense.

On the defensive side, it’s the DT (not Fisk), Verse and that’s it.

The rest of them are **** gobblers.
DeLoach, every time I'm watching them, is making plays.

Farmer is the guy on the DL that is a problem. He had a few passes defended yesterday just getting his hands up.

When the record is good you aren’t allowed to say the record doesn’t tell the whole story. But when the record is bad you’re allowed to say that?
I’m just looking at it objectively, the reality is that we are 6-4 but in each of those games we had a myriad of hellacious errors and those games were still within reach late

And did it wtithout the best player in football for a few games too. Didn’t miss a beat without bowers
Think that ended up being a positive for the UGA team. He really started finding a groove with McConkey and he's really started to let it rip. He was making a ton of pro throws in that Ole Miss game. Getting very confident out there.

They took our starting dt and he is passing out water right now.

Next year their dt situation looks good with bff's farmer and darrell jackson, also start a de from MNW who we passed over who alot on this board wanted us to grab lol.

They are also in legitimate play for JJ Smith at wr. They got a shot there

It will be interesting to see how the decision to start Emory yesterday will effect a portal QB committing. A free agent would be foolish not to wonder his chances when a true frosh got his second start against your rival on the road over two more veteran QB’s. There’s an explanation but it does complicate things.

Emory missed some throws he can’t miss yesterday no doubt. Those throws combined with the outright drops and balls his guys needed to come up with and it looks like it does today.

Two starts in against Clemson and then FSU on the road and the guys from which Greentree legends are born in multitudes every year are projecting Emory as a backup. He has mechanical issues to clean up. But the toughness, poise, balls, willingness to keep his eyes downfield, ability to move the pocket, and short memory will help this kid get better. Not to mention there’s not one guy on either side of the ball that wouldn’t fall in line behind him going into a fight.

I’ll make my prediction. This kid takes every ounce of what everyone loves about him and puts that leadership, energy, and work into cleaning up what he has to clean up. Not giving this kid the keys or at least some work after Clemson given the mindset with JB and the bull**** from TVD is criminal. The horse**** play calling out of the half screwed him and everyone else as well.

Get the best free agent you can but if anyone thinks this kid won’t have a shot moving forward you are misinformed.
Yesterday I was hearing if TVD gets the nod, no transfer will look this way.
There’s alway 2 sides, I suppose.

I agree with giving him a shot, but If we can’t get a decent transfer to beat out Emory, we’re in trouble again.
Let him ‘shirt next year.

This isn’t the uga people think they are when they think of Kirby.

Talent gap closed isn't a sign of progress:

2021 we were favored and we came out flat and then came back to have a let-down against FSU. Manny's only loss.

2022 Mario gets murdered 45-3. Did FSU close the talent gap or the coaching gap?

2023 Mario looses again but it was close. Great, Golden did that as well.

This talent gap thing is nonsense. Good coaches win with loser players. Every championship coach over the last 40 years hasn't needed time to get more talent before they started producing strong winning seasons.

Mario has already missed the mark on #of wins in the first two years on what every other championship coach the last 40 years. Most of them didn't have the portal. None had stacked classes.

Well said

Pinning our hopes on a portal miracle at QB, it's still funny seeing people saying this is the way.

Any OC we face recruiting QB X this off season would only need 15 minutes to show why having a QB isn't needed here besides handing off the ball. It isn't even worth my time explaining how and why that is, but it's there for all to see in the film.
In all actuality by the time Mario decides on one he likes and does his normal/slow due diligence, that one will be long gone.

Tied for 104th in turnover margin and 110th in penalties. I’ve been a Mario supporter but this tells the story of 6-4. Undisciplined year after year.

The willingness to continue to trot out TVD between his performance and his status with many of his teammates was inexcusable. Emory could definitely use a shirt but between TVD and the decision made with regards to JB he was the guy.

Again all for getting a ready QB1. At this point I’m beyond ready for a legit, high quality spring QB battle above all.

Yeah everything looks like progress when you set the bar lower than we thought was humanly possible

Need a qb to do that.

why? bc im not willing to throw a kid in there for what is lost season at this point (2 games left and were not in contention for any big bowl) after losing emory to a bad injury? kid hasn't played all year and is redshirting. why throw it all away for 2 games at the end of the year if you weren't gonna use him in packages at all. just ride it out with tvd and finish wherever we do. were going to some mid tier crap bowl anyways and nothing will change that. id rather protect JB at this point than play him for 2 meaningless games.

you need JB healthy for the offseason and summer. we lose tvd which is a positive but now have to rehab emory instead of developing him further this offseason. in all likelihood, JB is your only healthy spring QB.
I suspect JB hits the portal in December
