Alabama vs Clemson game thread

I hope to **** Richt is taking notes on this **** game.

He only needs to take one note...Win in the Trenches, no matter what.

That's why Bama will probably win this game. If we can turn ourselves into Bama, which is what I think Richt is trying to do with the hiring of Kool, we can do **** like that.

I think Bama is going to start grinding it out on the ground and mix that up with quick strike passes. If I'm wrong, so be it, but I think that's where they'll go.

But you're definitely correct, Richt cleaned house to make a complete break with the "***** machine" culture that prevailed here.

no lets do it our way. doing it bama's way with emmert in control will lead to the death penalty for us.

True.

There are only so many dealerships in town who can donate free cars under the table to players. Plus, the White Powder Banks down here might object to forgiving the mortgages on parents of star players.

However, we've got hookers!

touche. cocaine and hookers man

Clemson's bag man da real mvp

See, we can't do that ****.

Poor Butch didn't realize that that bagman crap couldn't happen in the Gables, so now it's going to follow him wherever he goes. If you're in a favored school in the ACC or if you are in any school in the SEC, you've got a blank check from the boosters.

But not at Miami.

IDK if Bama is the best example. They generally have bigger guys than i'd like. I'd rather have more speed at the cost of strength than they currently do. Also, their offense isn't pass oriented enough for me. They are a power run team, and that's not something I want our offense to be. But I get what you are saying in the sense that Bama wins games because they dominate at the LOS.

Very good point.

Remember last year when Bama ran into Tom Herman? Herman mixed it up a LOT more while Saban's offense seemed one dimensional. We've been so mediocre for so long that people forget that we were once called "Quarterback U", so you're point about Bama is taken.

Especially since Clemson appears to have gone ahead.

That's why you don't hire recruiters at Miami, and try to beat those teams at their own game.

Instead, gotta find the best athletes who aren't the All Americans and coach them up. It's how JJ did it, Butch too.

Watson is no passer. NFL teams will be dumb and draft him, but dude is not an NFL QB, at all.

Nah if he gets a solid coordinator he'll be fine. That throw to Scott was money, don't know how many qbs make that.

Lots of QBs can throw the deep ball. He doesn't read the field at all, and is basically either the first read or an improvisor. Vince Young comes to mind, but he's not as dynamic or prolific as Vince was.

People said the same thing about cam newton, difference is his coordinator takes advantage of his talents.

Well said. Where did Herman end up again?

13-1 at Houston with FSU win, can't believe people doubted him

Watson isn't close to Cam as far as passing talent, running talent, or physicality.

He has some work to do but I think his ceiling is very high. Watson is a stud, he broke the state passing record his junior year of high school. He is doing what he needs to do to win a college game and unfortunately that doesn't help him prepare for the NFL. Either way he is going to get better. **** I am going to go ahead and call it.... the Falcons going to draft him in 2018
