Alabama vs Clemson game thread

I hope to **** Richt is taking notes on this **** game.

Bama is everything that's wrong with college football these days. 40 person coaching staff, 8 mil a year NFL head coach.

With the amount of money given to coaches, there is no reason for guys like Saban to go to the NFL at all anymore.

That's why Bama will probably win this game. If we can turn ourselves into Bama, which is what I think Richt is trying to do with the hiring of Kool, we can do **** like that.

I think Bama is going to start grinding it out on the ground and mix that up with quick strike passes. If I'm wrong, so be it, but I think that's where they'll go.

But you're definitely correct, Richt cleaned house to make a complete break with the "***** machine" culture that prevailed here.

IDK if Bama is the best example. They generally have bigger guys than i'd like. I'd rather have more speed at the cost of strength than they currently do. Also, their offense isn't pass oriented enough for me. They are a power run team, and that's not something I want our offense to be. But I get what you are saying in the sense that Bama wins games because they dominate at the LOS.

One of the things you're going to see are the deep pockets programs (USC, Oregon, Texas, ND, etc), raid the NFL for HC's and coordinators. Why should Saban put up with Steven Ross and an incompetent Dolphins Front Office when he can be Lord and Master of Tuscaloosa for as long as he wants.

These injuries aren't gunna bode well for Clemson. Mackenzie Alexander already out for game. Scott is hurt, now Gallman, so thats a WR and RB dealing with some sort of injury.

Watson has every intangible to look for in a QB. He has been very accurate thus far in the game as well.

Very good point.

Remember last year when Bama ran into Urban Meyer? Meyer mixed it up a LOT more while Saban's offense seemed one dimensional. We've been so mediocre for so long that people forget that we were once called "Quarterback U", so you're point about Bama is taken.

Especially since Clemson appears to have gone ahead.

There are only so many dealerships in town who can donate free cars under the table to players. Plus, the White Powder Banks down here might object to forgiving the mortgages on parents of star players.
