Tyriq, perryman, and Kirby all had chances to take down cook for about a 5 yard run on that winning touchdown. All them wiffed

I counted 6 broken tackles on the Cook TD

the Dline is never there to help stop the run, which is the problem. FSU's Oline pushed our DLine around all game, their running backs never had to feel the weight of a DT slamming them into the ground. While Duke and Yearby had to constantly deal with Eddie Goldman the entire time.

he took a program that was left for dead... randy had us in the coffin... al still took the job than shapiro delivered the nail in the coffin ... so now al was stuck we then began a 2-3 year long witchhunt by the ncaa and i firmly believe a stiffer sentence handed out in the proper time frame than a looming one that greatly hampered recruiting would of been better... anyway recap golden takes over the program probably at its worst level ever.... we know on 11/17/2014 well i believe that we are back to being miami we are alive... where do we go?.... im fine with or without golden because i know if another coach comes in he will be coming into a great situation the team is loaded the depth is coming we are young across the board... its great to be back
Get your ****** nole *** out of my thread.

D-line quality and depth.
His in game adjustments have improved, but still have room left to improve.

WTF......Excuse me?

News Flash: This past Saturday was great time to see those improvements. It was 23 -10 at half.

A head coach is accountable for player development, the roster overall(quality and depth), and readiness in game time situations.

Where has Al struggled:

In game time adjustments the first 3 years.
Defensive line depth.

Where does Al struggle right now:

D-line quality and depth.
His in game adjustments have improved, but still have room left to improve.

Where has Golden improved this year:

Player development. For once a team looks better every week. The team that lost last night would kill the team that played UL or Nebraska. Of course none of that matters if the team lays an egg the last 2 weeks.

Where do we go from here(my opinion):

I hold out hope that the team continues to build and improve weekly like they have been and rolls UVA and Pitt. Then wins the bowl game. If that happens, I believe they carry it into next year and see Al's best season yet, meaning 10 wins at least.

If that does not happen I will not hold the same mindset. If Al Golden lets his team lose either game remaining, then I will lose all faith in him and believe he can't get he job done.

Basically he has to prove that the last two months are for real and not some crazy fluke. He destroyed the average teams and showed we can compete with the best of the best. Can we continue to do that? If so, I'm in. If not, bye bye.

Very important we win out and a win bowl. If we do that, I'm still on board and he can even keep his boy Donof for all I care.

Our OLine handled their DLine. Now what?

FSU made some changes. Folden tucked his chain like Debo was seen approaching on that Beach Cruiser.

And explain to everyone what you think Al Golden is accountable for. Since his time at Miami he has lost 19 games. Of those 19 games, which is he accountable for? Please include anything you think he is accountable for in Recruiting, player development, offense, defense, special teams, etc. I think its time to get to the bottom of this.

Bump

Goldenbots are starting their rally but really pussyfooting around.

We lost because no one flew a Fire Golden banner!

Canes were 3-0 when the banner flew...this loss is on us fans

Cracks me up how emotional you guys are after a loss.

Nationally, the perception is that Al Golden is doing a great job.... considering the cloud of sanctions and negative recruiting, and all the negativity around this program the past few years.

How quickly people forget that stuff.

And this year, it's clear that the defense has been fixed for the most part, and that we have an exciting young quarterback coming back next year.

You know.... at the beginning of the season if I would have told you we would play FSU tough and our defense would finish in the top 30, you would have been happy with that. Funny how the bar moves with emotional fans.

Dont tell me what I would have been happy with. **** our D ranking if we aren't winning games. Would you have also said our record would have been 8-4? Because the bolded part of your post is a glaring testament to this coaching staff that everyone wants to keep ignoring.

Well the over/under for the Canes was 7 wins, so, just like last year, the Canes exceeded Vegas' expectations.

When you look back at this a few years from now, you'll realize we just lost to a team that was a little better than us, and we had a true freshman quarterback. I'm not concerned about the Louisville or the FSU losses. That's just football.

The only complaint I have about Golden right now is 1.) He is losing too many recruiting battles especially on the defensive line and 2.) We suck against these triple option type teams (Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Nebraska) for some reason

During his four years at Florida, Muschamp amassed a 27-20 record, including a 17-15 mark in SEC play.

During his four years at Miami, Golden amassed a 28-19 record, including a 16-13 mark in ACC play.

People have to type novels to defend this guy. College football is cutthroat and a bottom line business.

6-4. No Coastal title title.
28-19 in 4 seasons
16-14 in the ACC
55-53 career record
9 seasons as a head coach
Has never won a conference title
Has never won a division title
Has never won a bowl game
Has never finished with 10 wins

Save your paragraphs. That's all you need to see.

**** ... Objectively, that's hard to argue against. Wow ...

But Florida was a well oiled machine at the time, which Muschamp wrecked. He managed to take a team full of 5 star kids and crash and burn.... Larry Coker style.

UM was a dumpster fire, which Golden has improved. Perhaps not to the extent we'd all want right now, but you have to admit this team is better than where Golden found it

So apples and oragnes.

People get emotional and start to see things in black and white, when the real world is a ton of shades of gray.

We make one more play on Saturday, catch one more ball, and people are singing Golden's praises.

Fact is, the truth is somewhere in the middle. This turnaround hasn't been miraculous, but we are a better team than we have been the past few years. We played a decent game against FSU, but needed to make a few more plays. Maybe we got a little conservative in the second half. Not a crisis.

Golden's faults:
missing out on South FLA studs some of whom have directly hurt us (Cook, Louisville D, Teddy, etc), horrendous record against ranked teams, no bowl wins, no wins against semilols. trying to leave miami in the dirt for pedo state.

Golden's accomplishments:
being less worse than UFail, getting Coley who got Kaaya, increasing season ticket sales, coming up with catchphrases, giving better radio/tv presence, caring for players post injury.

That is true you cannot deny that...

Muschamp exceed expectations in his second year by taking them to Sugar Bowl, beating FSU

Brady Hoke was similar went 11-2 in first year, beat Ohio Taint and won the Sugar Bowl

Since then both UF and Michigan went no where but down....thats why Muschamp is gone after 4 season and Hoke is on his way

Golden had the Shapiro crap break only what 2-3 weeks before the start of his first season? I mean Im not making excuses for the man but you can't deny he was handed a rotten hand when he began here. Has he improved every facet of this program? YES but your not measured by that, you need to produce wins and thats what MATTERS MOST

That's true, honestly Muschamp wasn't that bad of a coach either, there's no way you can win at any level of football without a quarterback and that's what screwed him. But you get fired in college football for not recruiting well, and Florida has like the 100th ranked recruiting class right now with no 4/5 stars committed.... he had to go or the program would have been set back years.

I don't think Golden is at that point. He's continually hauled in good-not-great classes year after year and I don't think they're bad enough to fire him over. Especially with all this cloud stuff.

I tried to like Golden. I could see the issues he was dealing with his first three years, but this was his year to get it done. At worst this was a 10-2 team even with a true freshman. You just can't be in year 4 and having teams like GT and Nebraska do the same thing over and over with no real attempt to take it away. I'm not a full mope yet, I can't root against the canes. But Al probably needs to go, and at a minimum Dorito needs to go and the whole philosophy of the defense needs to get back to attacking at all times. If DL recruits wont come here because of the skeem, then everything that has to do with the skeem needs to go. I'd like to see Coley under a different HC though. I'm a Canes fan, and I want to see the team and coaches do well but there comes a time when it's just not going to work out.
