Leach never had a losing season in his entire time at Texas Tech. His 2nd season at WSU he led them to their first bowl game in 10 years. In 2018, Leach led WSU to a school record 11 wins. They've been playing football at WSU since 1893, and their best season of all time was led by Coach Michael Charles Leach in 2018. Meanwhile at Miami, we finished one game over .500

Yep, rarely beating Texas, rarely beating OU despite seeing both of them year in and year out is so incredibly exciting. Imagine losing to FSU and VTech every single year. That's what Leach gives you. Never mind the fact that he has made it a practice to load his OOC schedule with trash, to pad is W/L numbers. Think about it, when was the last time Wazzu played anyone worth a **** OOC? When did TTU play anyone worth a **** OOC when he was there?

Leach is fool's gold for the stupid fan. He'll find a way to get beat by a truly awful team, he'll get worked by Petersen at UDub(Because why not), but our dumbass fans are still here salivating over the guy. He's NEVER been a legitimate candidate at any school worth a ****, despite being so incredibly good. What does that tell you? He's a guy that belongs at second and third tier schools, because they have pathetically low expectations, and he can deliver on those. Put him at a school that expects to be more than a 7-9 win program, and he would fall apart in spectacular fashion.

Texas Tech was a 6-8 win program under Spike Dykes. Leach improved them on average by 1-2 games per year. He also dumbed down their OOC schedule. Outside of a couple of big years, TTU was an also ran in the Big XII.
