A Lot of Bad and a Little Good

If Dawson was highly sought after he would be a HC by now at a good school. The guy coasts on talent Mario gave him to play with. Awful.

I actually thought DC had his worst coached game here. We had them with 4 rushers nearly every time and if we blitzed they were able to isolate our poor players and move the ball.

1, 9, 0 are disgusting to watch in coverage, especially in man. Good god I miss Scott.

OL and this run scheme will lose us games. You would swear every pass down 4 needs to block someone for them OR every run down he needs to sidestep a free DT to not lose 4 yards. Big yikes for Mario and mini me on OL management.

Special teams still suck. We need a coach who isn’t an analyst that was a previously fired ST coach.

Mario back to coRching 101. What in the sweet **** even was that halftime drive?

- I’m not sorry, this OL is an awful pairing with this run scheme. You cannot run power with this interior set, I don’t care how much you believe in it. Stretch the **** ball, their DT is getting through anyway. You can’t win games with a first down efficiency rating of “flaming dog ****”.

- Also, one of two things is true: either 4 has regressed in his ability to pickup rushers, OR, this will shock you, THE INTERIOR CANT PICK UP THEIR ASSIGNMENTS TO SAVE THEIR LIVES.

- Mario peed down his leg, twice. First time was at half, second was that OBNOXIOUS FG kick. You go for it or punt. Theres no other option. You’re still only two scores up IF HE MAKES IT. Awful.

- Injuries. Injuries. Injuries. Injuries. I’m crying man, the injuries.

- I have a theory on what happened to Mensah, but I’m not Thanos and in love with Lady Death. If nothing else, Dawson must have gotten into his head and threatened to emasculate Mensah like the jewel thief did to him.

- WHERE IS COOPER

Was this a win? I don’t really know how to answer that, but we scored more than them. Which is always good.

Spot on for all takes. Mensah got injured that’s my thought on him. Then you have Mali, Fletcher and Marty out and things got way out of whack. Pringle also is injured so he was down to RB5 true freshman to finish the game.

SJ couldn’t block anyone and your QB is hurt. It got ugly quick.

If mali and Fletcher are out against Clemson it’s going to be a rough day. Still you would think there is enough talent to get a 1st down. The play calling was really bad at times.
 
All great and apparent points but the silent killer for me is how we have been serious beneficiaries of dropped passes in critical situations in league play against weak to meh opponents. Those will all but assuredly convert against teams later on our schedule and especially if we are playing in Dec and Jan.
