A couple of thoughts

Again, huh?

We haven't even played half of our ACC schedule yet.

True, and that's of concern. The four other ACC teams we're tied with have one or two more conference wins. They've already won one or two more games than us. We still have to catch up and play more ACC opponents.

The teams we're tied with have a 75%-80% ACC record. We have a 66% ACC record.

Pitt, UL, SMU and Duke have one to two more games in the win column. We still have to win these add'l games.

Rewatching the game now

So it was 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and it was still a 14-7 game when Stanford had the ball

Wes gets the pick almost scored and the rest is history

Stating the obvious that’s too much of a dogfight but good on the team for finally wrestling the momentum away from Stanford there and dominating the last 20 minutes on both sides

It's also true that it's a meaningless observation.
So it took you exactly one response to reverse your previous statement.

I say something true, you freak out and claim that it's a "bad opinion" then you reverse course and say "ok, it's true but irrelevant!"

Obviously it's not irrelevant because it triggered you so much that you responded to it.

It's also objectively not irrelevant.

WHO YOU PLAY IS TOTALLY RELEVANT.

When Emory was put in, I would have liked to seen him pass more than twice, but we just handed it off 10 times to W-H, I mean, I get it we were close to the end of the game and we started on our own 45 but still would’ve been nice to see him pass just a couple more times.

My only disagreement with the coaching decisions was going for the 4th down right before that instead of kicking the FG and going up two scores at that point.
I get that. I still thought Fletcher had it the first time and watching it again looks pretty clear but guess not.

I see both sides. I’d trust the team to get a few inches with our OL and Fletcher. Brockermeyer really got punished on that play unfortunately.

Now I see the real funny part. You only think it's "some" different teams.

So we don't play either of the two teams you mentioned: Georgia Tech and Virginia.

And we only have 4 common opponents with each of them. So half the schedule is completely different.

If we still had a division format then we'd still control our own destiny.

Saying that this is meaningless is quite literally one of the dumbest things you've could've possibly said.

It's meaningless because we have not played a more difficult ACC schedule than the two teams above us and the other four teams that are tied with us except Duke.

Because of our offensive performance we're in a dogfight in arguably the worst P4 conference against the likes of GT, UVA, UL, SMU, Pitt and Duke.

In the final analysis you seem to think being peers with those teams is an acceptable outcome. That's what you're arguing.

If you want to see dumb, give me your address and I'll send you a mirror.

Saying the offense is a concern is a fair statement. Saying the offense sucks is a lie. Calling last years defense mediocre is also a lie; they flat out sucked. This years offense is somewhere between mediocre and ok. This years defense is good. We have another five games to go before report cards come out.

I'm saying the offense is a concern. I think I indicated this when I said the "offense is mediocre". The offense doesn't suck and I didn't say they do. It's mediocre.

The offense is also the reason we dropped a game against UL (Beck is part of the offense) and if we don't make the ACC Championship it looks like the offense will be the reason based on their play ytd.

It's meaningless because we have not played a more difficult ACC schedule than the two teams above us and the other four teams that are tied with us except Duke.
Georgia Tech has the easiest schedule in the league. Or at least among the contenders.

You can stop digging this hole anytime, brother.
