I think the whole world knows Dawson has two run schemes - neither one worth a ****.

Between the Guards, and between the Tackles.

Meanwhile, there's a whole football field out there for the taking.
 
Im not even the biggest fan of dawson, I was one of the few that called out these same issues that most are saying now even when we had tvd ****ting his pants

But what i will say is yall overrate the talent we have on offense and underrated the talent we lost and didn’t replace properly. Dawson isn’t one to get more out of what he has, his offense goes as far as the QB and WRs take it

Last year we had two portal windows to get serious db upgrades and we refused, cost us a playoff appearance and acc championship imo. This year we obviously needed wr upgrades and we refused.

Most of yall said its fine because yall said players you never saw play before were better or had more “potential” than our wrs last year because they went undrafted.

We won’t be elite contenders until we stop going the cheaper route for key needs.

Also will never understand how an OC doesnt sit down with their QB and align on their best and fav "money' concepts. I mean im sure dawson/beck have but doesnt really seem like it based on last game. Give beck some quick 5-10 yard throws to get going (not talking bubble screens either although some are fine) and then some PA mid/deep.

I'm not reading all 11 pages of this thread to see if someone else posted the idea...but I wouldn't be mad about seeing Toney as wildcat QB as a new wrinkle. He's good with the football in his hands, and has QB background from HS to where I think he'd be a threat for short throws if we leaked someone out in short yardage situations. A triple option look on 3rd/4th and shorts with that could be helpful. I could even see him doing a Mahomes-to-Kelce shovel pass to Lofton inside as well on plays like that.
