I've bee watching football since the 80s. Barry Sanders is the best I've ever seen. No one really comes close. Maybe Walter Payton, but I only had the fortune of watching the second half of his career. Eric ****erson was great, but didn't sustain that greatness for very long. Others like Marshall Faulk and Tomlinson were great, but still, not at Barry's level. I loved the 9ers backs from back in the day too--Roger Craig, Garrison Hearst, Ricky Waters, Frank Gore, but no one holds a candle to Sanders. That guy did it with a below average oline and subpar QB play.
