Maybe it's my deep hatred for O$U... in Micah's situation it doesn't make sense (at least to me) flipping from PED State to Ohihoe..especially after the team he was commited too just had a better season while beating the team he might now commit too...
again, it could be my deep hatred for the fückeyes

I'm with you on the hate, but like it or not osu is a big time program with one of the best coaches in college football. They pull monster classes every year so it shouldn't be surprising that top kids want to go there. Also I'm far from sold on that guy at psu, I have my doubts that he can duplicate last season's success.

I was reading the PSU 247 board and someone posted that Parsons informed a few OSU commits ahead of time about his decommitment, but didn't inform anyone from PSU. Right now it looks like that's a decent sign that OSU has the edge . He also said in an interview that PSU is still his leader (yeah right) and that he'll probably visit Bama and FSU as well.

Sometimes we have to take off our Canes Shades and our hatred for certain programs to see y kids still want to go to Bama, OSU, FSU and schools of the such. They are always in contention for a national title, and they just all recently won national titles. On top of that, they are college towns filled w sleeze ball coaches and boosters who will make these kids feel like they're invisible.
That's y I continue to say this year is EXTREMELY important not only to keep our 18 class in tact, but to possibly add more elite, national players moving forward. We may not be a college town, but we offer beauty, tradition, high academics, prestigious football alums, and a stadium these kids would hope to play in making millions of dollars on a Sunday. Richt is selling that, along w his own pedigree of players he's sent to the NFL. We win on the field, and we'll be cherry picking across all the major CFB states (FL, CA, GA, TX, LA, and NJ)

saying Penn state is still the leader while decommitting is about as dumb as Anthony Schwartz releasing a top ten and then writing at the bottom that other schools may still be in it last month

This why I don't think we finish with the top class. Might not even finish top 5. We just aren't going to get many 5* players. Just facts man.
Doesn't mean the guys we're getting aren't better than guys rated ahead of them and ****, but it just isn't likely we finished ranked 1st.

The appeal is that urban is a monster recruiter and Ohio is right near Pitts.

Larry Johnson Sr knows his stuff and is a helluva of a recruiter. An saying this takes nothing away from Coach Kool, by recognizing another quality coach. Now the head coaches he chooses to works for are a different story Joe Pa was shameful in the way he ended his career trying to divert attention away from what he let happen. An Urban meyer might as well have been running a pitbull & parole reality show with subtitled from Gainesville to Columbus or bust.Go
So in the end Johnson can coach he just has shady judgement off the field.

Although it's a place that doesn't have any appeal to us, the Midwest, Ohio Valley and western Pennsylvania areas the kids have huge admiration for the taint.
To a kid from Harrisburg, that would be like staying near home. Miami will win with South Florida kids. The key is to keep them home and coaches like Meyer and Saban out of South Florida. They've been poaching the best kids for years now.
