4-star LB Bissainthe bonding with Aristide, eyeing future visits

That lone loss in Tally was because Erickson broke his knuckle more than anything....those 90 & 91 Lines were as quick as 89....Shane Curry was a frigging Beast....and to be honest...that 94 Line was quick af...any line with Sapp on it, makes it that much quicker...If that Line was at 100% against Nebraska...we win going away...Sapp...Riley (out with torn ACL)..and a healthy Lang and Holmes would've shut down that Slessinger FB Dive BS....You saw what Sapp did for 3 quarters alone...
Shane Curry a forgotten BEAST WOW , to hear his name again awesome.

Shane had those huge quads tremendous hip power off the edge to attempt to block him off his first step as exhilarated towards the ball impossible to stop all game long.

Thanks for bringing this unheralded player to light 🙌🙌🙌😎

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let’s pump The Brakes. Shaq & Pinckney did not look great in this defense. Shaq went from a future 1st/2nd round prospect as a true frosh & looked very vanilla & at times confused (which he admitted he was over thinking at times). The results was he got drafted in the 4th. Pinckney went from a drafted prospect to in the CFL. And we forget McCloud was apart of that trio. After his TF yr, he became so bad that he was relegated to spot duty to being taken off the field, to now being tried out as a DE.

The Golden Boys (Shaq, Pinckney, McCloud) were the best we had & they all deteriorated after their stellar TF yrs. It’s been precipitously worst since w/ Manny/Patke’s recruits. The scheme is as such: create & cause havoc to get TFLs & sacks…however, it lacks discipline & if a team exploits that lack of discipline, if u don’t have the hogs at LB to clean it up, it’s a wrap.

Sorry, no one can be reliably projected as a first round prospect at LB as a true frosh.

The entire premise is flawed.

Wether the scheme suited them or not is a different argument, but using an imagined freshman projection as the foundation of an argument falls flat, in my opinion.

Additionally, one has to look at other factors for draft positioning, including combine performances, injury status, etc. but that is another, deeper more nuanced argument, again.

There isn’t a coach in the world or a scheme on paper that was going to make Shaq into the type of athlete that gets drafted at LB in the first round. If you look at every pre draft analysis, they all say the same thing. “Smart, instinctive, good tackler, good leader. Stiff, a bit slow, struggles in coverage, not a three down linebacker at the NFL level. The dude was a solid player and by all accounts a great teammate but the NFL scouts all saw the same lack of agility and athleticism that we did.

But what about Bissainthe?

But what about Bissainthe?
Don’t know. I believe his athletic testing numbers are a bit better but he’s also playing at a much lighter weight than Shaq. Can Bissainthe maintain his quickness and athleticism playing at 235lbs? Maybe? But if I knew for sure, I’d be making a lot more money and definitely not be posting on a message board.
