I hope he commits himself mentally and physically to playing d tackle. He's 6'5 300 lbs as a high school Junior. No way he sticks on the edge.

This kid and his family are bad asses! Love how thoughtful they are with what really matters (academics) and taking a thorough approach to recruiting, there's a lot of fake out there. He would feast in Manny's scheme and I hope we can get him back to his home!

OOS kid, but this comment bodes well for us. Our communications/journalism school is top 50 in the country, and our business school is usually ranked somewhere between 50-75. We're also well-regarded for sports management, if that's a potential career path of his.
SHOULD BODE WELL FOR US REGARDLESS...HIS PARENTS WENT TO UM. We dont have to sell the school all that tough

Boom to this. No need in wasting time on convincing him and the fam how great of a school UM is or how he will fit right in culture wise in the community. They already know all of that.

We need to put up some numbers in the W column and thats how you get a kid like this to remain interested come October. Its really that simple.

Theres going to be many jokes about it possibly but I'm dead serious that if I'm the staff I'm calling up all the best Haitian restaurants and getting the best meals when the family visits. Academics with the school, play on the field will work itself out just remind them of the culture here
And get those haitian restaurants to get this man some NIL endorsements.

I had heard his dad went to UM, but did his mom go to UM also? Regardless, I was just commenting on the article and the bolded part (where mom talks about the specific academic programs they're looking at). That bodes well for us (and so does the fact one or more of his parents went to UM).

But you of all people know that you always have to sell the school and the program in recruiting. George Karlaftis is at Purdue because he wanted to pursue an engineering degree. I think Anthony Solomon's mother went to UM, too, but he's up at Michigan. Evan Neal's at Alabama notwithstanding those family ties. Unfortunately, that list goes on and on...

But yeah, hopefully we land this kid, because he's a big, athletic freak who moves really well for his size and I happen to think Simpson would turn him into a beast at 3T.
