3 and 4

Just look at this lol

I did some serious glazing last week with these two with how well they set the edge in run game. This week it’s more how balanced they’re with their pass rush moves . Their tool box is as loaded as Lance Guidry on Cajuns drink free night. I’ve gotten used to watching these guys walking tackles back to the qb with pure power but tonight I noticed how much bend these big ******** have. So as an OL you have to prepare for the power so you have to concentrate hard on dropping your anchor. Well they have a change up, speed rush with a dip move or a rip. Both guys have really became very complete edge guys. Which is something you don’t see every day.

I think I've even seen Bain try to hit the Reggie White "hump move" a few times this season which is next level stuff.

I’ll go to my grave saying Reggie is the most dominant , over powering , unblockable force ever to play defense. He could dominate inside at dt , outside at de and could even play five tech is a 3-4. Great against the run and pass.

For the most part all the teams that win Nattys, have elite playmakers. We don’t have that right now. At the moment, this is not a National Championship team.
Who were the elite players on Michigan’s offense in 2023? Better yet, name a player on their offense other than McCarthy

Don’t let this one game fool you, this is a national championship offense. When you can run at will and dominate the line of scrimmage even when the passing game isn’t working, that speaks volumes. We have seen Michigan in 23, Georgia in 22, and every bama team (before Sark and Lane, joined the staff) have all won with a dominate offensive line, strong running game and a decent passing game.

The difference is every team is not going to stop this passing game. This is a National Championship team, and there isn’t a team
In America outside of Oregon who is playing better team Football than Miami.
THE CRISTOBOWL may be inevitable

i just rewatched the game (i was at the game). i would argue that Mesidor might have had a more impactful game than Bain. if not, they were nearly tied. Mesidor was unstoppable. on the reverse he was running with the RB and when the RB gave the ball to the WR they were about tied with Mesidor having to stop and retrace. he still made the tackle on the opposite sideline. what a motor

I love it when they put 3 and 4 on the same side and 12 on the other side.
I was just thinking about this.

It seems like a great way to beat double-teams. Putting your two most powerful pass-rushers on one side puts pressure on the OL to win one-on-one. If you try to double-team two adjacent rushers, the extreme imbalance leaves the backside wide open (opening space for a speed rusher like Lightfoot to disrupt).
