Without cheating: RB Blake Corum, WR Roman Wilson, and TE Colston Loveland. Donovan Edwards was the backup RB who started in 2022 when Corum was hurt. I think all of those guys made the NFL, though we'll see who sticks around.
Cheating: WR Cornelius Johnson is in NFL but Id have never pulled that name. TE AJ Barner is TE starting ahead of Elijah Arroyo in SEA.
I take your point though, a handful of fringe NFL skill guys is pretty underwhelming for a national championship roster.

Something I didn’t think about before reading your post… Could we have possibly slowed the offense down to give our defense a rest? No 3rd down conversion for the whole game with only one drive worth talking about. If we went up tempo on O we would’ve put our defense in a totally different position. Our offensive pace for this game very much impacted our defense being able to do what they did. This is a great point and completely overlooked. We play at a slow pace, which likely will reduce our offensive numbers as it reduced possessions. But the flip side is that the defense plays fewer snaps. And if they can create 3 and outs, they will play very few snaps.
What was the number against UF? 52? That is an incredibly low number and one that every defensive player should be able to handle.
I absolutely think Mario/Dawson/Hetherman have made a decision about offensive pace and how it impacts the defense. I would argue this is the definition of complimentary football.Something I didn’t think about before reading your post… Could we have possibly slowed the offense down to give our defense a rest? We may not be far enough from this in the next draft. At a minimum we should have a 1st round DE and OT. Mesidor, Bell, Bissainthe, Scott, Daniels, and a few more have legit shots at being drafted. They had a 1st RD QB, 1st RD TE, 3rd RD RB, 3rd RD WR, 4th RD TE. It doesn't matter what those guys do in the NFL, they had a ton of NFL talent on offense.
Last night, Bain had the second most pressures anybody has had in a game this year**MVPs of the game last night
Fans get enamored with sacks (pause) but Bain probably had the best 4 tackle 0 sack 0 TFL game in college football history last night
And not a single hold call anywhere to be seen. I’d love to sit in on the ref’s review of that bull****.

**i think I read that right lol
They will shut up when Bain gets that inevitable 3 sack game here soon. That little midget is a tough guy to sack but he will still have nightmares of 4 coming at him for weeks.MVPs of the game last night

Saw PFF credited Miami with 42 pressures last night. Has to be some kind of record
Moss (Louisville QB) holds on to the ball. I want to see a 7-8 sack game from our defense in a couple weeks. They will shut up when Bain gets that inevitable 3 sack game here soon. That little midget is a tough guy to sack but he will still have nightmares of 4 coming at him for weeks.
