Yes, excuses. Golden whiffs again, so, it's the excuse, of "look who we have, we don't need him." You always want a 5 star guy. You can never get enough. I don't care who we have on the roster and what recruits we have committed. This kid is an exceptional talent.

Actually, Lawson does not give us the same thing. They both are qbs who can run and even though lawson has better qb footwork, gibson's scrambling ability (21.7 200m) makes him a more dangerous threat. Now if one separated from the other in terms of arm strength, passing accuracy, and consistency then I would say Lawson gives the same thing, but both have to develop as a passer.

Like i said id give the kid a shot at QB, if he cant show anything then you switch him, thats probably what is going to happen to him at ohio st but meyer will just say some stupid lie
