Miami -- locally known, internationally respected. The National Brand
Some of the locations makes a lot of sense considering that we are a city university;
SoCal
Houston
Chicago
Atlanta

And some are surprising but it speaks to your point about the brand;
Phenix City, AL
North Carolina
Nixa, MO

it's 'theU'nited States of Cristobal. Keep winning at the pace they have been, and there wont be a region/state that Miami will not be a threat. This is what it was becoming at the end of the Jimmy Johnson run and what Butch was absolutely getting to.

Russell Maryland from Chicago
Armstead from Dallas
Kevin Williams from Dallas
Cortez Kennedy from Arkansas
Steve Walsh from Minnesota?

Shockey from Oklahoma
Dorsey from NorCal
Reed and Wayne from LA
Winslow from the Left Coast

When we’ve been at our best we’ve been able to go anywhere

Just off the top of my head...

Colorado has brought UM Calais Campbell(and his brother) and Darren Krein

Nevada- we've had several players from Bishop Gorman the past few years

Texas in addition to the guys you listed: Chris Campbell, Robert Williams, Jason Fox, Daryl Jones

Even New Mexico with Carlos Etheridge (who actually played a bit in the NFL)

New Jersey has had a load of players: Greg Mark, Danny Stubbs, Mark Caeser, David Njoku, Greg Olsen, James Lewis

Most of Miami's standout QB have been out-of-state recruits

Now Mario is regularly going into Southern California

I actually have a listing of players from different states, I need to update that

New Mexico and Carlos Etheridge...wow. Won't digress into a convo. about him being needed at tackle. Thanks Dennis. I know 'Bama was grateful. Welp, I have digressed.
Point taken k9, regarding national recruiting. Great times for the good guys! Can't believe you went Etheridge on us😂.

I've been holding that in my back pocket for years!! What's funny is that Erickson recruited another guy from NM a few years later in Nelson Smith, who washed out after a year

But I remember Carlos wore 82 as a TE, and then 68 as he got converted mid-season. That oline for the 1992 team was... well...not very good LOL

I was literally thinking Texas was the only place we were missing in let’s go

Love taking texas recruits
They’ll always get theirs but they are struggling a bit on the trail this year

Over half their commits are 3 stars kinda wild

Feel like for years we convinced ourselves we stole recruits from certain states, but really they were passed over. Not anymore

Hand usage and quickness reminds me of Moten. I can see why we prioritized him.

There was always one or two Jersey kids on our championship teams.....
