First time watching his tape. I really liked what I saw. Plays violent, great motor and disruptive. He does play too high, but that’s common at this stage. He’s incredibly athletic and moves like he weighs 240 not 300. I’m excited for this kid.

Our class is really starting to shape up. I like the DT’s we’re pursuing. We’re going for lighter, twitchier types that can add muscle to their frames. We want pass rushing DT’s because nothing disrupts the passing game more than a DT pushing opposing guards back into the QB’s face. Then the DE’s can eat when the QB gets flushed out of the pocket over and over. Then Corey Heatherman starts dialing up some delayed blitzes from the nickel or outside LB and it’s game over. I also like the fact that we’re starting to get a foothold back in Texas and California. Once that happens, college football is cooked. When we start embarrassing the “blue bloods” every year again, they’ll suddenly decide NIL was a bad idea and try to put an end to it. You just watch.

I'd love to hear the story on this. I know heights/weights are often old (and frequently exaggerated) but 265 vs 305 is too significant difference to miss.
