Interesting that he suggests that dudes that transferred out this past Spring did so for NIL

I think that was more a subtle message to the media that Miami isn’t buying teams than us actually getting outbid for guys we really wanted to keep.

Walker, Aire, and Jovanovich would have been near the end of the bench this year.

For example, Casey is such an upgrade over Walker it’s unbelievable.

Well, that's not exactly panning out.

Walker is playing 18 minutes a game at IU and 50% FG (just keeps doing too many 3's.... 20% or less.) Harlond Beverly still a starter for Wichita State and is sometimes their best player but not consistent. Some say he left Miami for PT but if Coach L says it was NIL might be the case.

Walker and Bev are different cases.

Walker would have come back and been a similar player to last year. He just doesn’t fit the system well because he can’t handle the freedom the system gives and makes too many bad decisions.

L would have loved to have Bev back and I’m sure if we had enough NIL Bev could have been persuaded to stay but he wanted a starting role and wouldn’t have one here so the NIL premium wasn’t something we were in a position to make up.
