2022 2022 Recruiting

Who out-performed their ranking?

When it comes to Lively, it’s easy for him to get overshadowed by the dominance of Jalen Duren but is also an incredible prospect in his own right. Standing a legit seven-feet, he possesses great size for the position to go along with a set of very long arms. He’s mobile, bouncy, quick off his feet and has great hands and touch.

He is an outstanding rim protector given his physical tools and his feel on timing with his contests, rebounder, defender who also scores around the rim and showed the ability to make shots off the catch from three. Lively is loaded with talent and upside, is currently ranked as the No. 44 overall prospect in the 2022 class, and is also due for a good bump when the next rankings roll around.

He is currently being pursued by North Carolina, Penn State, LSU, Florida, Kentucky and Georgetown amongst others but will also see more jump into the picture in the coming month.

On Florida Pro, the Thompson twins showcased why they have received so much buzz during the high school season. Both stand near 6-foot-6 with long arms and are elite athletes. Both possess impressive ball skills and coupled with their athleticism, they’re dynamic attacking the rim with the ability to change speeds and direction on a dime with an explosive first step.

Ausar in particular showcased his ability to make shots from three, connecting on three off the bounce while Amen showcased his playmaking and slashing abilities. Together, they can be one of the best defensive combos on the perimeter in the entire country.

Thanks. Are they high school head or asst coaches? Street agents? Former college players? Former HS players?

Trying to get a read on what they have to offer team members in terms of passing on fundamentals or other basketball lessons. Are they knowledgeable enough to pass on critical knowledge, or is their focus just recruiting players and handling in-game substitutions.
most of them are former players, some locals that donate time ( have kids on the team). and then those that have heavy duty sponsors that have connections, with the local kids.
Most high school coaches avoid it ( avoid recruiting issues ), they hold off season workouts for their players ( to work on their games), but since most kids are doing AAU ( travel ball) attendance is light. Most of the focus is on recruiting the best players, and handling in game substitutions and coaching.
Really the brand name AAU teams are well known, and basically have the pick of the best players : College coaches follow the Brand Name AAU teams, so players roll with these teams in order get max recognition
