Except in 2000.This. Everyone "hated the BCS" but they really didn't hate the BCS. They just hated that there was no playoff. The way the BCS selected the teams was vastly superior to this garbage we have now.

Right lol, but had there been a playoff, we wouldn't have been shafted. Granted, there's always going to be 1 team "left out". If you expand to 16 teams, the 17th team is going to feel shafted. I'm just saying the way the BCS selected the rankings was imo the best they've had thus far, since it used computer models, as well as a committe, not just some biased committe, or coaches poll, or w/e.Except in 2000.
It was also the first year and they saw the error in their model. But we still got screwed.Right lol, but had there been a playoff, we wouldn't have been shafted. Miami is 5-4.So I was scrolling down the list and saw NC St at 16 ... and Pitt at 21.
I scrolled back up as obviously I'd missed Miami - y'know, the team that beat those 2 teams. Weird that.
Cincinnati IMO would beat Michigan, Mich St & Oregon. If they are a remaining undefeated, then fine.
But Cincy wouldn't be favored against
Michigan
Oregon
OSU
OU
Okie St
****, they'd be pick'em against
Pitt
NC State
Miami
UNC
Wake
Two of those defeats coming to #2 and #7, so they essentially don't count. Those are the rules the SEC plays by - I want to play by them too.Miami is 5-4.
It’s b/c the B1G acknowledged they screwed Michigan in their game against MSU. Also Michigan’s L was against a top 10 team, while MSU lost against an Unranked team. I know, I know.Michigan ahead of the team that beat them last week?
Wtf…
Fair enough. I didn’t know about the officiating mistake. I was just baffled initially. It’s b/c the B1G acknowledged they screwed Michigan in their game against MSU. Also Michigan’s L was against a top 10 team, while MSU lost against an Unranked team. I know, I know.

I demand a recount.
The "eye test".If Bama loses a close one to UGA and Cincy is undefeated, I have no doubt that the good ole boys will push Bama past Cincy.
Would be unprecedented either way. First 2 loss team getting in or first G5 team.If Bama loses a close one to UGA and Cincy is undefeated, I have no doubt that the good ole boys will push Bama past Cincy.
