Rivers is the best OL in the state and IDGAF what anyone else says. He's ELITE in every category. He would've started this year. So we are losing Kennedy and getting another starter plus Reed and Washington. We're fine at OL talent and numbers wise. Again, we need a new OL coach.

Disagree. If we were good talent-wise and numbers-wise we wouldn't have had Herbert/Hillary playing guard at the end of the year or needed to start the year with Campbell and Zion at the tackles.

Truth is this entire roster lacks tackles. Scaife is playing tackle but isn't. Campbell tried but he isn't (and looks better at guard). Zion is playing tackle but was never ready, not on any planet. After them? There's none. That's why guys like Campbell, Herbert and Hillary were all kicked inside.

Even if Rivers starts at OT, we're starting another true frosh tackle with a question mark on the other side. If one of those guys gets hurt? We're screwed again. We do need a new Oline coach just as we need a new OC who will not put these guys in positions to fail. But we also need to recruit Oline much better than we have been.....and we need to recruit more tackles each and every year.

So many fans only look at the recruiting rankings. Miami might have depth at guard. The 2020 roster has 1 true tackle in Zion Nelson, 1 good guard playing tackle in Scaife, and 1 redshirt freshman who might be a tackle (El Gammal). Now for 2020 they also have true freshmen in Rivers (who won't be a left tackle) and Washington.

The guys who failed at tackle aren't going to suddenly become great options there, they may be salvageable at guard.

At this point, all 18 Miami commits planning on signing today have been confirmed as signing their LOI.

The only target left on the board is LB Justin Flowe, who announces at 2 pm on ESPNU. Oregon the favorite at this point

I hope you can remind the coaches/sources moving forward that when they have felt good about someone the mostly were wrong.

I agree, Enos is the worst. If Manny retains him for next season, it will be a disaster. His offense actually got worse as the season progressed. He’s a horrible play caller and runs a outdated antiquated scheme. Manny would have to be totally incompetent to retain him.
