I paused on that too, but I think he's just taking it literally. Walton was averaging 7.6 a carry when he went down, Homer finished the year at 5.9. We all know it's not apples to apples, but to a national guy not involved in the team to our level, it's not a crazy thing to say. And Walton was pretty electrifying early in the year, albeit against garbage competition.
Agree with what you said. A lot of people just purely look at those statistics and make that assumption of Walton being more efficient. I agree with what Brock says about Homer's clutch carries. He always came in ready to go regardless of the situation in the game or if it was his first carry. I would add in the Duke game when he comes in late and completely ices that one too with a nice TD run with about 4 mins left. Homer is going to be fun to watch this year.
