2018 Prediction Win Total

I paused on that too, but I think he's just taking it literally. Walton was averaging 7.6 a carry when he went down, Homer finished the year at 5.9. We all know it's not apples to apples, but to a national guy not involved in the team to our level, it's not a crazy thing to say. And Walton was pretty electrifying early in the year, albeit against garbage competition.

Agree with what you said. A lot of people just purely look at those statistics and make that assumption of Walton being more efficient. I agree with what Brock says about Homer's clutch carries. He always came in ready to go regardless of the situation in the game or if it was his first carry. I would add in the Duke game when he comes in late and completely ices that one too with a nice TD run with about 4 mins left. Homer is going to be fun to watch this year.

i'd say 10-2 is a good guess. Drop one we shouldnt. Not like we were imposing our will on anyone last year.

We would have been 11-1 last year if we had played Arky State and we had a harder schedule too.

10-2 is the floor but the realistic goal should be 11-1.

This.

People keep forgetting we would have been 11-0 going into the Pitt game.

Outside of LSU, FSU, and VT (the obvious), I think the BC game will be a problem for us. They have a very good young RB.

After reading that article, I am VERY worried about our pass D and our OL situation is giving me nightmares.

We SHOULD win 11 games, but I think we end up at 9-10 at the end of the regular season.

If we win 9 games it’s a failure period.

Need to win 11 or 12 In the regular season

What worries you about the Pass D? We have two elite studs (MJack and JaqJohn), A guy we are expecting to make that sophomore leap (Bandy), a guy that the coaches are ready to predict will be All-ACC (Redwine), some young dogs who are ready for their shot (Ivey, Frierson) and a guy who if the light turns on will be a stud (Dean)...

The back 7 are the least of my worries. IF there is anything on the D that worries me it would be DT. We have a War Daddy (GWillis) but we don't have anyone next to him who is separated themselves from the pack yet. But even that doesn't worry me much. That's how good I think Willis is.

We were elite in the first 9 games in pass defense, the final 4 we were terrible. Need more consistency

My concern is there are several sneaky tough games, BC on the road on a Friday, Syracuse up there in that weird-*** dome, GT on the road, VT on the road, FSU as usual, and then Pitt.

IMO every single game aside from San St. they have to come prepared.

Oh, win total heart say's 11, head says 10.

It's fckin Syracuse, we own GT, VT has too many holes on D, fsu will play tough, Pitt gets a beating this year.

We could lose any of these games, but I see no reason to be concerned. We should win them all, if we don't it's on us because there's nothing scary about any of those teams.

10 wins is the floor. Period. Any way you wanna slice it. 10-2 is the absolute floor. Anything less than that and it's a failure, period.

I expect 10 wins in the regular season. Richt is good for one head-scratching loss and Rosier is good for one on his own.

I don't care what the schedule says...if the QB play is anything like last year then there will be more close games than there should be.

I predicted 3 or 4 losses for the 2017 season. This year it looks like 2-3 losses. Teams that could best us, LSU or fsu or va tech or bc.

Read the article.

Our pass D was abysmal in the final 3 games.

I am going with 12 straight. On paper this team has the depth to survive #1 WR, TE and RB going down. With the new 4 games rule, I am looking forward to see which Freshmen contribute.
