If U think they aren't finishing top 5 then I dunno what to tell u. Tho I'd love for them to bomb out recruiting this year.. it just won't happen.

They won't finish top-5, especially since they're taking a pretty small class. Top 10 definitely, but not Top-5.

Also just look at the list of 5* guys. Bama is usually in on half of them. In this class only a couple even have interest. They'll get a bunch of top-100/200 players, but not enough to push them into a top-5 class

This. LOL at anyone talking rankings in May, especially Bama's. They will have a top 10 class by the end of August after spring games, Summer visits, etc.

Bama's days are numbered. The writing is on the wall. Miami, Michigan, Usc, & Texas all being respectable programs again is going to kill them. The jig is up.

If for nothing else, I would agree with you based on what history tells us: Nobody stays on top forever. Every program goes through cycles of ups and downs.

Texas? Texas was 5-7 last year, and hasn't had a winning season since Mack Brown left.

Except Texas just got one of the most sought after coaches. Miami, Michigan, and Texas all have good coaches now. Aint gonna be so easy to pull recruits from their home turf anymore for satan.

Ahh just like the good old days. That SEC reign was nauseating

Charlie Strong had more national respect coming into that program than Tom Herman. We'll see what he can do, but the jury is out on him after flailing with a playoff-caliber team this year.

Herman is a monster. Time will show that, and he has more talent than he's ever had as a head coach.

Bama is different this year its that simple.

You don't turn over a HUGE part of the coaching staff and maintain those relationships. There are so many factors involved this year from the turnover in the staff, to them being perceived as beatable for the first time after losing to Clemson, to former powerhouses (like ourselves) rising up and not allowing the cherry picking. The only 2constants at Bama are Saban and his bagmen, and for the first time in a long time, that just isn't cutting it. I don't think they finish top 3 this year, top 5 maybe, but I would not be surprised if its outside the top 5 and in the top 10. It really is a new day gentleman. Start embracing it. Our class is every indication of that.

Bag$ don't get dropped till January.

Bama will have a top 10 class for sure, and if they can sign a full class it would be top 5 easy.

Herman is a monster???

LMFAOOOOO

Monsters don't get their shīt pushed in by the likes of Navy, SMU, and Memphis - all in the same year. Let that marinate for a while.

Look, he's not a corch, like some people say on here. I would give you he's seemingly a very good coach.

When it's all said and done, he's going to be judged by how he does at Texas. He's going to have access to some of the most talented players, and a top recruiting base, in the nation, arguably the best facilities in the country, and the most highly funded program in the country. Money is no object there.

If he's as good as people say is, and he very well might be, then he should kill it at Texas. Especially with all those resources.

He's got an opportunity that looks a lot like the one al had at Miami. If you can't win with the potential of Texas or Miami, then you just can't win..

Yeah, the poor ******** will just have to survive off their last 4 or 5 top 2 cla$$es.

Pierce’s de-commitment leaves the Tide with just two commits in the Class of 2018: defensive end/outside linebacker Jordan Davis and wide receiver Xavier Williams. I don’t think Williams ends up signing with Alabama as of today despite him publicly being pro-Bama. Look for him to stay in Florida and sign with Miami.

This is when you are a good poster. Thanks for sharing.
