2016 Draft eligbles.....

****. Tracy is a pretty pedestrian athlete and Artie isn't as fast as I thought he was.

These numbers were from last year so Artie should be faster by next year. Tracy was a 4.65 guys at 165 when he came in as a freshmen. Artie should in the 4.3-4.4 range by his senior year and run a sub 4.5 at the combine. Waters is another example of a guy who improved his speed, he ran a 4.55 as a freshmen and a 4.39 last year.

Doubt Artie goes from a mid-4.5 guy to a 4.3 guy. You either have 4.3 speed or you don't. I don't think I've ever seen someone go from 4.5 to 4.3 in college. Regardless, I think if he had potential to be a 4.3 guy he would've done it by now.

EDIT: Doesn't mean he can't play ball though. I just thought he was a "speed guy".

A lot of people didn't realize Antonio Crawford WAS our fastest DB. Thanks, Al

Actually Elder is our fastest DB by a hair.
Antonio Crawford: 4.47 40 (4.38 best), 4.27 20, 11 reps of 225, 325 squat, 242 power clean, 300 bench press, 30.5 vertical
Corn Elder: 4.46 40 (4.37 20), 4.45 20, did not do reps of 225, 350 squat, 220 power clean, 250 bench press, 33 vertical

Knew Elder and Crawford were neck and neck with speed but thought Crawford was faster by a hair. Although I think a better running back, certainly happy we have Elder.

Best cover corner on the roster although Tracy Howard is right behind him. Might be the best complete cornerback.
