2001 Canes vs 1995 Nebraska

The Miami speed would smash that weak option ****.No comparison at all.Miami wins easily.

Two best teams of all time in my mind. I have thought about this topic almost every day since 2001.

I say if the game is played in the Orange Bowl Classic Miami wins. In the Fiesta Miami loses.
All other Bowl games more than likely the Canes win.
We will never know.
 
Only thing Nebraska did better than Miami that yr was destroy everyone on their schedule. Other than that I don't see Frazier, Phillips, or green doing anything to our defense... Their defense was good.... But I'm sorry... We scrape them
 
nebraska would be in 3rd and long all game, with frazier throwing into the most talented secondary ever...canes might set a single-game record for picks
 
Their entire starting defense played in the NFL and their overall team speed was **** good. Their offensive line and backs were complete studs too. You're nuts if you think Miami rolls that team. And stop comparing the 2001 Nbraska team to this one. Those two were completely different. This Nebraska team was every bit as good as Miami's 01 team. And what the **** does going for 2 points have to do with his coaching ability? That just shows he had balls. They were more dominate on the field from start to finish. Again, Miami needed a miracle against BC and barely squeaked by an an average VT. You dudes need to take off your glasses.

This question is a joke. Bigger, Faster, Stronger, Deeper and a MUCH better roster. Look at the 2002 MNC Rose Bowl results to get an idea of how this team and it's speed fared against that scheme. A Stupid thread

2001 Nebraska was not 1995 Nebraska or even close. They had already lost by 26 points to Colorado before they played the Canes. A lot of people considered it ridiculous that they even got the NC game bid.

But 1995 Nebraska had the far better coach.

Plus I believe that 1995 Nebraska had a lot of great talent that didn't fit the pros very well. Similiar to Tim Tebow and Urban Meyer's UF teams.

Considering that this Cane team barely beat 8-4 BC and 8-4 VT, what is with the confidence of beating 95 Nebraska?

The '01 team played it's best against top competition. Look at the games against ranked teams. They blew the ranked teams out of the water.
