9-3
Losses to A&M, Clemson and 1 of UNC or Pitt. There's the outside chance there's an upset to someone we don't expect... like GT on the road before the Clemson match up in a season where GT is very improved with a 3rd year QB. I don't think we lose to any team that has a 1st year HC like UVA, VT or Duke.

But, I'm still shooting for 9-3

10-2, with the losses being the two obvious teams.

Like every year, we have more talent than anyone we play in the ACC and we hopefully have the coaches now that won’t be dropping games to inferior teams, which is everyone in the ACC except Clemson.

10-2, drop both games to A&M an Clemson on the Road, pull the upset an win the rematch against Clemson in the ACC title game, win the 🍊 OB against a top 15 team an finish 12-2

Does anybody have a sportsbook with spreads for us for the rest of the season? I think I may have seen @OrangeBowlMagic post something about it before. Curious how likely Vegas says these scenarios are, based off of the spreads

You’re not going to find spreads for every game yet. Some books post “Game of the Year” lines ahead of time. So you can find A&M, maybe Clemson and FSU. But nobody will have a line for example vs Duke or GT, etc. Not yet.

Heart says 10-2 but voted 9-3 as I think we lose to some random ACC opp other than Clemson during the season.

I voted 10-2 I don’t think the WRs will be as terrible as everyone is making it seem, we have some talented guys in that room. If the defense lives up to what we’re hearing I cannot fathom us having more than one let down and think we can win one of either the TA&M or Clemson.

Looking at last season if we would have played just mediocre on D we likely would have only lost to Bama, MSU, and maybe UVA.

Still not sure we have enough deep threats to compliment our QB. We need guys who complete catches that hit them in the hands. We will drop 1 or 2 games we have no business losing this season.
8-4

I chose 10-2. Besides Clemson and A&M, every team on our schedule got worse or had a coaching change.

9-3 should really be the absolute floor for this team.

Like others have said, 9-3 with 3 road losses; aTm, UVA and Clemson.

Still good enough to win the Coastal. If we get Clemson in the ACCCG it is another loss, but if it is NCSU I say we win.

I want to say 10-2, but Miami has spent the past 19 years losing football games it shouldn't lose and I can't see how that instantly changed year one—under a guy who has a penchant for losing occasional games he shouldn't lose, as well. (Stanford last year, Arizona State in 2019, keeping Oregon out of the Playoffs.)

Feels like 9-3 is on deck; road games at aTm, VT, UVA and Clemson are a tall order for this program. (Even down years for VT and UVA, Blacksburg and Charlottesville have been tough outs in the past.)

O-line, lack of depth at receiver and running back. General depth problems across the board.

@Go Canes!!

9-3, if we can stay relatively healthy on O line and D line 10-2 is a legit possibility due to you win at the LOS no matter what, but no team goes thru a season unscathed, and there is enough talent to win 9 games and not enough talent depth to overcome the usual mediocre to average game that all teams play. Remember the best team of all time 2001 barely hung on against BC and Virginia Tech. The top teams play a stinker or two every season they just have the overall talent advantage and coaching to come out with a win 9 times out of 10, this team doesn't have that..............for now
