Hence, all the impeccable officiating crews we have received over the years. With that said it matters not to me whether the ACC or FSU lawyers do not recognize us a a P5 school, as long as the B1G sees us as such, I can rest easy.

I'm just going to say this and leave it here. Every single publication that I've seen, aside from the IVY ranks the B1G as the next best academic program. ACC is fine, but it's not on the same level.

The conference that demands that all it's schools must be a member of the AAU, The conference that distributes 100's of millions of dollars through the BTAA to it's member schools for research. The B1G has more prestige in academics than the ACC, and it's not even close.

I could see the Big 12 going after Louisville, Pitt and perhaps Syracuse. With Cincinnati and West Virginia already in the portfolio, that has the potential to create a nice geographic/regional footprint.

This judge has no hope of overseeing this case. ACC lawyers will demand (and rightfully so) a recusal.

Somewhere earlier on this thread someone mentioned Penn St officials were lobbying for Miami to join the B1G. So with that said, what information do you have that disputes that narrative.

I'd say related but not necessarily a catalyst.

More likely it is due to the USA Today investigation (less than 18 months ago) that FSU was not in compliance Title lX laws. You don't have to abide by them as long as your willing to forgo national funding.
