    100% agree that the B10 or SEC would be much more lucrative but Miami can't just walk into the offices of those respective leagues, put their feet up on the coffee table and demand to be added. I have no clue how this is going to look when the dust settles or what kind of position the school...

    Those are the bigger state schools so of course you'll see more of their merchandise in stores in and around FL (especially Central FL and the panhandle) but make no mistake about it, when Miami is on top, they're much more of a national brand than either of those two.

    I said Miami is a bigger brand than FSU and Clemson, where did i say they were bigger than Michigan? As mediocre as Michigan has been the last handful of years, they're still considered a blueblood. If Miami can put together strong seasons and re-raise the profile of the football program...

    I think that's oversimplifying it. A top ranked Miami running the SEC would mean more money and ratings for Miami and the SEC. Plus weekly premiere matchups of Miami vs UGA, Miami vs Texas/OU, Auburn etc would be humongous for a 20 team SEC.

    Miami is a bigger brand than FSU and Clemson could ever wish to be. The problem is we've put out a mediocre product since arriving in the ACC so there's no real incentive to bring the school onboard. Had Miami had even a handful of 11 win seasons, couple of ACCCG appearances (a couple titles)...
