It's ok to take 3 stars as long as you know their limitations and they fit into what your trying to do. To just take kids to fill a spot is not the right way.

This is real simple. Grab as many 5/4 stars as you can, take a chance on 1 or 2 lower rated kids you really like and then hit the portal for proven good quality kids (Rambo, Lichtenstein, etc.)

You're exactly right to stress quality over quantity. Instead of loading up with projects, we can fill up with proven portal players.
