For my money, I’d go with a Honda CRV or Pilot. The Acura’s are great as well. Just a little more upscale than the Honda. At 150K miles, they’re just getting broke in.

The 09 Civic Coupe I have now is the longest I’ve ever kept a car. It’ll be 13 years old in July and just turned 80K miles. Runs like a new one. I’ve been fortunate that I’ve never had long commutes. The most fun to drive Honda I ever had was a 98 Prelude.

When I started driving, gas was $.49 cents. Washing dishes at Grants for a buck 65 an hour, it might as well have been 5 bucks a gallon.
