Kinda just agreeing with the critics. Guess I didn’t prepare enough. Guess we were just going through the motions. Guess we shouldn’t do that. Yep. 🤷‍♂️🤔🤦‍♂️

Oh look our young quarterback is having a difficult time carrying an Offense that isn’t well coached - and can’t produce a consistent run game To support him. Imagine that. Williams had a bad game. But, there is no excuse for us giving up 30. We should be able to beat FIU with Kirby Freeman at QB..

What we really need is that "Miami swag." Remember when Jerome Brown danced on the sideline like a fairy while losing to fiu? Remember when Andre Johnson celebrated an 8 yard reception on 2nd and 10? Remember the time Michael Irvin wore the TD knuckles after scoring against Bethune Cookman? It's not whether you win or lose, it's about having "Miami swag."

Agree. Next years schedule and team should, at most, lose 2 games (that’s being generous and excludes bowl, ACCCG). It’s a ridiculously easy schedule.
People said that about this year.

I'm giving up until next year, I need some time away. This whole program is so fcuked up...you're a RSF starter who's been benched once this season already and you don't do everything in your power to be supremely prepared?

After taking a few days to reassess and review the film of Miami’s loss vs. FIU, QB Jarren Williams admitted that he could’ve done more to get ready for the Panthers.
This was painfully obvious to even the most casual observer in the first quarter.

We are now the easy team on everyone’s schedule.

Why should next year be any different, we gave games away this year, we given games away in prior years, and sadly we will probably give games away next year: Last year lousy offense, T/O and horrid punting. This year lousy offense, T/O, and horrible special teams. Next year who knows what area will cost us 2 or 3 games. Just having a sound fundamental team these last couple of years we would have average 10 wins a season

This guy is not a good leader. And it's not just the FIU game

Tantrums, threatning to leave the team, not preparing. Whoever the next coach is will have to find a QB because players like this don't just change, he's immature beyond repair. If the first couple of ****ups weren't a wake up call, then he's a lost cause

Does he get drug tested? In the Losses, he looks like he’s coming down off of burning a few bowls and would rather be raiding a fridge

I’ll
After taking a few days to reassess and review the film of Miami’s loss vs. FIU, QB Jarren Williams admitted that he could’ve done more to get ready for the Panthers.

“I felt I was prepared (going in),” Williams said. “(But) looking back, I felt I could have prepared more.”

Williams threw 3 interceptions on the day and, at times, it seemed like FIU knew where he would go with the ball.

“I wouldn’t say they knew what we were doing, but they prepared well and had a good scheme for us,” Williams said.

Coming off a 52-point and nearly 500-yard performance vs. Louisville, the Canes’ offense struggled to reach 200 yards vs. FIU through three quarters before getting things together in a fourth quarter comeback that fell short; Williams ultimately finished 19-36 (52.8%) for 249 yards and 2 TD’s to go along with the 3 picks.

“I felt like I wasn’t myself out there, wasn’t playing how Jarren Williams plays,” he said. “Right now, I’m focusing on this week, being 1-0 this week.”

What was Williams seeing on his interceptions?

“The first one he had a slant and I was reading my read key and he flew out, but the safety came down on it and hit him, caused him to fall, pick,” Williams said. “The next one, a collision as he was catching the ball. Because they were coming down on a lot of our RPO’s. The ball hit him he got hit, went up in the air.”

RB DeeJay Dallas left the game with a dislocated elbow and will miss the rest of the season, and Williams is looking to pick up his leadership capabilities in Dallas’ absence.

“I try to be a little more vocal, bring that juice, energy, keep guys going, that swag - let’s play our football,” Williams said. “Time to time, guys just get caught up going through the motions. We have to attack everything. Most important thing I stress is to be you - go out there and be you, you’ve been playing this game for how long? So go out there with your swag and be you.”

I’ll try, I felt or I wouldn’t...... 🥺🤬 I wish he was a senior so we could get him the Fuq outta here

Lol you really using the young QB excuse?

And yes Kirby Freeman would’ve beaten FIU just like any other 2nd or 3rd string QB that ever played at Miami... Jarren is the only UM QB that’s capable of losing to FIU.

Good Kid but just not a leader, your QB needs to be a leader.

LOL - so it isn’t Diaz’s loss. It’s Jarren’s.

Your dumb analysis is dumb. He isn’t a pitcher. Give this kid Dorsey’s 2000-2002 squad and he’s undefeated. Give him Brock Berlins 2003 defense and he’s undefeated.

Miami fans are brain dead. A Miami Hurricane defense just gave up 30 points to F I fugging U and you cats are talking about the RFrosh QB who’s OC refused to Run the ball. Just dumb.

Let me provide a clear example for you Hurricane fans that don’t seem to understand what you’re watching. Vinny Testaverde threw five interceptions against Penn State. Five interceptions. Penn State only scored 14 points. Five interceptions against Penn State. They only scored 14 points!

Williams could have thrown six interceptions against FIU, and there is no way in **** they should have scored 30 points!

Our Fanbase is totally brain dead. And most of you cats just want the Miami quarterback to be starting.

“I felt like I wasn’t myself out there, wasn’t playing how Jarren Williams plays,” he said.
Then get the **** out of the game!
