How do we continue to have QB's that just don't it either mentally, physically or have the stones to consistently play at high level.

Williams- Mentally weak
Kosi- Mentally
Rosier- Just limited physically and Mentally
Kaaya- No stones
Morris- Mentally Weak
Jacory- Mentally
Marve- Mentally
Freeman- Physically didn't have
Wright-A little of everything.

I mean Mentally week from X's and O's standpoint for all except Williams, who seems to just be Weak minded

I don’t think Kosi is mentally weak he’s just an inconsistent QB in terms of accuracy. And Morris was being forced to play on a bum ankle.

Regardless out of all these QBs you listed and their faults... Jarren Williams is the only qb on this list that could sink so low as to lose to FIU. Talking about “I felt I was prepared” 🤡🤡🤡🤡

Besides that one game. I cant really think of any defining moments for him. Plus he didn't even complete the comeback

No defining moment perhaps appropriate critique. I just can't think of a time he showed no stones? And he did what he was supposed to in that comeback. Perfect throw to Coley on 4th and goal, not his fault the oline forgot to block on the XP.

I never hated a team more until this one. Its full of losers from top to bottom. They disgust me
While the W-L record has been underwhelming and the team clearly needs to fight harder more often (and not just go through the motions at times), there are some great players on the team that have done a lot for Miami football:

1) Brevin was huge bringing players like Bolden & Martell to the U in the offseason (which did create more competition in the QB room). Bolden is also a quality addition. The momentum he built led to others like Jaelan coming on board. The W-L record would be way worse, if we didn't have Brevin. He's also a stud at TE and will be drafted high. We're very lucky to have him.

2) Deejay: also gives maximum effort & shows great leadership. Magnetic personality too.

3) Rousseau: he's been a beast for us & by all accounts is one of the highest quality individuals on the team.

4) Blades: bleeds orange & green and an intelligent individual. He's not perfect (no DB is) but he has played hard for us.

5) Hedley: been a rock as a punter and a fun individual.

6) Murphy: while some of the celebrations may have been excessive, he gives everything he's got. Special teams would have been way worse without Jimmy Murphy. He embodies the effort that is lacking from some others.

There are other quality individuals on the team. N'Kosi also deserves credit for hanging in there this season & showing maturity (in a challenging situation for him). He may not be Warren Moon but he has shown fight this season & given the best he was capable of on any given day.

I think the reality is if we had a good Kicker from the beginning of the season, we would likely only have 2-3 losses and be feeling different. The FIU loss was terrible though. Embarrassing. Poor effort. Really untimely for recruiting. We need more players that hate to lose.

All I got from this was "Williams, the team and coaching aren't taking this serious.basically they are all thumbing their noses at us fans and basically giving us the middle finger.don't know about the rest of you but I'm done.

****, this is annoying.

“I felt I was prepared (going in),” Williams said. “(But) looking back, I felt I could have prepared more.”

I always tell my kids there may be kids smarter or more athletic than you, but never let anyone outwork you. The fact that again he wasn't prepared as he should be is just inexcusable.

you are taking his words and twisting them around. He didn't say he wasn't prepared. Any kid/ QB would look at film and believe they could be better prepared. If he said anything else, you would have crucified him for that. You can't have it both ways.

I'm not sold on this kid to lead us to anything more than another 6/7 win season next season.

He's gonna need to take BIG leap next year if he's gonna be the shoo-in starter.

He reads the field way too slow if his first read is covered, at times looks like he's watching a movie out there instead of going through his progressions & is very slow footed both in & outside the pocket, he runs into sacks way too often.

He can be accurate with well defined 1 read concepts where he knows exactly where to go with the ball, but when Defense sit back & play Tampa 2 Zone coverage he doesn't know wtf to do with the ball & has a tendency to get extremely gun shy where he just won't let it go.

He needs to do a lot of work in the offseason, Idk exactly what his issue is but when he's off, his bad games are horrendous, like unsettling bad.

Agree 100%. I also think he’s lacks mental toughness. When he faces some adversity and If things aren’t going well, he turns into a completely different QB, gets rattled easily and becomes gun shy and goes completely in the tank. His whole demeanor changes, by the time he snaps out of it, it’s too late.

I'm not the kind of person to tell Jarren Williams how to live Jarren Williams life, but after losing to FIU, Jarren Williams may want to take a step back and literally **** his own face before referring to Jarren Williams in the 3rd person again.

I agree Jarren Williams should take the advice of Lester Burnham when Lester Burnham tells Jarren Williams to f[]ck Jarren William's face.

These third person references would make any professional wrestler proud.

Young & immature QB. He’s not a leader yet & until he becomes one, MIAMI will be mediocre. Good players & good young players with leadership skills make coaching look better.

He still gets a pass. He’s a R-Freshman. If he doesn’t take that leap next season, then there is a big problem because MIAMI can’t afford another reset to the QB & Head Coach.
Why our R-Freshmen have to be immature and show "their young" age? How come those same age QB's at Clemson, Alabama, UGA, OSU etc. play like leaders and lead their teams to winning records? Sorry but I say BS. It is all about talent meeting coaching and the result is winning. You only have a few years playing in college so either you get your act together quickly or you're done.

So true

Lol “ I wasn’t myself “ then gives excuses on his interceptions. Yes 3rd person Williams defenders don’t make it easy on you. They do want the ball

Not everyone develops or matures in the same way just like every kid in school, let’s say, develops different.

I am not making an excuse for him. Just explaining it but for me, I give him a pass this year.

Jarren is a good QB who had a bad game. I'm not really worried about Jarren.

Before the season started, I was the first person on this board to point out how slow he processed everything, and how that would be an issue. And, sure enough, in the Florida game, that came to fruition... as my predictions usually do.

But then the kid did something I never expected - he learned from his mistakes and got better. Jarren Williams got better every single week. So for that reason, I'm still all in on him.

N'Kosi Perry, on the other hand, is beyond help. But Jarren I still have faith in.

Rosier looked like a shell shocked veteran of the Verdun but that guy had a ton of heart. Not a lot of talent but a big balls.
