Thomas would have offers from every school out there if he were a few inches taller.

Miami needs to full court press him. Send the bus like they did for Donaldson.

Steve Smith is the best WR I've ever seen (I know that will get me killed on here). Give me speed at WR, **** height.

No reason to be killed. Pound for pound he probably is. He's a monster. The key to a small kid with speed is that he's gotta have explosiveness, wiggle, toughness and competitiveness to go along with it to stand out. I use Mike Harley as an example. Hi film didn't thrill me. He's fast but doesn't have the other components.

Thomas is a little bigger and he has it all.

Kuligowski very likely has a relationship with the coaches there, too.

Not in the Heart of SEC country we have a shot if he is a Miami fan..Im pretty sure Illinois, Missouri, & Tennesee dont bring out the bags

VIDEO: Top100 WR Thomas Talks Miami

Don't want to get anyone hopes but... in this video he said I mean they got the freshman, what's his name he asked the itu reporter, ivins then said ahmmon richards and Thomas said yeah hopefully I can be on the other side of him

I heard the same thing and got really excited. Hopefully he likes what he sees on his visit in 3 weeks

Measured a legit 5-10 at Summer Nike in Oregon--July 5-10. 2016...the 4.38 laser at a Nike regulated event is unreal

Thomas, Jeff... 17.. WR... East St. Louis... Lunarbeast... 5-10.0(ht).... 167(W)... 4.38 (40 laser)

That time is the fastest in the country

UT absolutely throws around cash but only for the most elite players. After Tee Higgins decommitted from them, boosters broke out the dufflebags and apparently couldn't match what Clemson offered.

If a Tennessee visits happens after never mentioning them we'll have our answer.

That will tell you all you need to know. Teams trying to get into the picture this late have to provide certain emoluments.

4.32- Salvon Ahmed
4.35- Donovan Johnson
4.38- Jeff Thomas
4.41- Cam Akers
4.41- Tre Brown
4.42- Marco Wilson

Also, I love that UM is willing to work with kids like Thomas to get them in to school. Give the admin credit where it's due!

UM has been doing this for years. They have been heavily invested in student athlete support and success at the higher levels of administration since Donna has been there. Anyone truly connected to the program would tell you that.

Yeah. Something tells me these are not laser times.

A WR/"skill" class that involves Jeff Thomas, Deejay Dallas, Anthony McFarland Jr., and Evidence Njoku is a nice little class with the former three really adding some much needed skill diversity and speed for the 'Canes.

He sure looked good today, that is for sure. Even of he isn't likelytk get in, you recruit like he would. I used to hate how we wouldn't go after guys who would need prep or JUCO to later be left out in the cold when they could get in.

Was this 38.5 yards? We may not see that many sub 4.4s at the NFL scouting combine.

Don't care what the times say, I saw him outrun 5 dbs at the UA game/

None of the comments are questioning his speed. Just calling a spade, a spade. Those times are mainly important as comparisons to other players - not as a objective measures ("laser") as they're presented.

The kid can fly. And, more importantly, he can accelerate.

well i spoke about tennesee and at the end of thomas speech the guy asked him about his tennesee visit. hello!! this team wasn't spoken of at the aa game and thomas said oh yeah like something was told to him while at the game. unless they were in the background all alone you just don't spit out a visit out of no where but i m happy for the kid i hope he makes the right choice and come to miami where we will fully use his talent.
