Thomas, Smith, and Njoku would be a great haul. Is it possible we take 4 WRs including Pouncey? Or just be lucky to get 2/3 or 3/4?

If we can land Thomas AND Smith, to go with Njoku that would be more than just salvaging the class that would be a fantastic haul . I have no idea what the chances are of signing Smith are as I've been out of the loop for over a month. Hopefully Smith is a legit possibility.

Assuming we add Thomas and Smith, I don't know if we take Pouncey. I'm not very familiar with him as a prospect. The question is if Pouncey is a take on his own merits once we have hit our intended targets. I would think we take 4 WR's in 2018 with so many elite WR in the tri county next year.

I think we will have room for all of them.

Plenty of scholarships available if they can land all 4.

Why would Berrios transfer? He's the starting PR and gets PT at WR. If it's a family problem that's one thing. If he thinks he's gonna waltz into another D1 program and become the go to WR in a few months he's gotta ***** loose. Hopefully this means that he knows when Cager is back and Mullins knows the playbook he's gonna ride pine. That's good news for the U.

Because he's completely misused in the passing game.

Berrious wasnt misused, hes seems ****y and is always trying to showboat. he jumps, dives, etc when he doesnt have to isntead of just making the catch.

Also, PLEASE, PLEASE stop with the Cager stuff until he proves something here.

He's definitely misused. 40yd fades are not his game.

I am not a huge Berrios fan but his TD against WVU was the type of play from the exact position he should play. Kid should be in the slot 99% of the time and be killing it underneath. His game doesn't translate out wide, not sure why they keep trying to force it with him out there. Kid should be our version of UNC's Switzer.

All that said, Thomas takes that slot from him if he comes in.

If Pouncey intends to wait until NSD to announce, it's going to be overshadowed by whatever Smith and Thomas decide to do. If we miss on those two and officially strike out on every premier WR target, this fan base is going to be in meltdown mode to where no one will care about a Plan C consolation prize.

Aside from the handful of ultimate homers throwing out the "we only want kids who want to be Canes" and "stars don't matter" nonsense.

Hear, hear. Only been saying this since I saw it in Fall practice. While it worked then, it pretty much outright failed throughout the season. I understand the "we didn't have the numbers at WR" thing, except when it consistently failed, why not try someone else out there? Anyone. It wouldn't have gotten any worse. Berrios isn't as quick out of his breaks as Switzer, but he's still better inside for us than anywhere else.
