CMR isn't hip-hop though, dude. We don't call Hickson E-Hix because he comes across as unassuming.

But because Williams drops some dope one-liners, and Robinsons's first-name is Travaris, we automatically appoint them their requisite hip-hop nicknames because it's cool to dumb things down.
Think you're the one that's being racist bud lol

You're reading into this too much.. this is what they choose to be called. T-Will's twitter handle is literally TWILL4REAL. DVD is a nickname he has had since his playing days. T-Rob same thing
I'm aware of this. This isn't a baggy pants farce, this is major college football and if these guys demand to be taken seriously and want to move up, they should consider dropping the monikers and it should start with us. Just my two cents.

I do agree that Shoop will get the DC spot next year. I think that it was extremely important to Diaz to right the ship on defense himself since he considers the defense "his baby". At the same time Diaz has gone out of his way to part with his pals and assemble the best defensive staff we have seen here in 20 years.

In my opinion Diaz sees the regression of the defense as something that only he can fix but not something that he necessarily wants to do every year going forward. In short, Bob Shoop is auditioning for the DC spot in 2022.

Regarding TRob, I hardly think he agreed to come here(back home) to go 1 and done. I believe TRob sees this as an opportunity to learn as much as he can from veteran DCs like Diaz and Shoop while working towards a possible promotion to DC. Smart plan if you ask me.

I don't think it is an audition as much as it is an acclimation to the Diaz style of defense. I think Diaz still want his imprint on the defense and this way allows both guys to get adjusted to each other (aside from saving UM some money this year).

Is this real life? I am purposely going to keep using these names double time just to destroy your ridiculous self appointed efforts. Principle of the matter.

LOL at the constant victory laps from the Manure munchers. You guys can’t let me quit this place in peace. You gotta draw me back in with this bullshyt of yours about how Big Bad Manure cleaned house.

You do realize he didn’t fire Blank Baker right? Or is this alternative Fluffer Facts you guys are now espousing unfettered since the moderates have stopped posting? Fact: Baker was going to be on this staff until that big drunk dope Orgeron bailed Manure out.

Manure was going to be DC and Blank was his game planner and still a member of the staff. He didn’t fire him and had absolutely zero influence on Orgeron hiring him. Orgeron liked Blank last year and still liked him this year. And guess who else was going to have him on his staff in 2021 if Orgeron didn’t throw him a life preserver? Yep. The guy you guys are celebrating for a firing he didn’t have the stones to make.

So, yeah. Celebrate the good fortune. Celebrate Manure hiring a couple great assistants after Orgeron took his son Blank off his tiny hands. But don’t get so lost in the haze of guzzling Manure’s zesty bath water that you lose track of facts because then I’ll have to stomp back here like a truth cop to set the record straight and urinate on your smoldering fire of alternative facts.

Manure is still the same guy who called plays situationally in 2020 but somehow decided not to call plays when his team was being historically sodomized by old man Brown. Listening to the Manure Munchers, you’d think he called plays during all the good defensive efforts but ghosted us during the horrible ones.

Keep prancing and flitting around like fairies prematurely celebrating like we won a NC, but the jury is still out on Manure as a HC whether you like it or not. If all that mattered was the off-season he’d be a perennial NC.

And he got lucky as fck with Blank. Otherwise, it would have been the same two clowns running the D that got gutted by old man Brown. Perspective, ladies. I hope he proves us critics wrong, but he sure as **** hasn’t accomplished that yet
The fact of the matter is that Baker is gone and Manny has put a nice staff together regardless of how it got done. Just cause you don't like Manny and want to see the team fail cause of that don't mean others who want the team to succeed can't get excited about the moves being made. All the weaknesses you called out Manny brought great defensive minds on board to come together and fix it. That don't mean anyone slurping Manny, just want to see Da U win period. It's All Bout Da U not you✌🏿talk that **** elsewhere.

Can you respond to my post again, but this time with a response that has something resembling a semblance of logic.

People such as yourself were saying that Manny wouldn’t hire alpha types and wanted to be surrounded by yes-men.

I just delineated where he just hired a bunch of alphas, people that are going to tell him what they actually think, not yes-men. Several of whom have had prior DC experience, and who were specifically hired to provide their strong opinions, shared defensive planning, as well as their coaching.

So your response is to come up with some half *** idea that Manny reports to Manny? What the fūck does that even mean? Those guys I mentioned are just gonna be sitting around twiddling their thumbs?

Also, I’m not circle jerking over anything, I’m just pointing out that a bunch of people like yourself have been proven 100% wrong regarding who he would and wouldn’t hire. It may work, it may not work, but those retarded opinions about him hiring only yes-men, or not hiring alphas, has been proven conclusively wrong.

Additionally, this so-called “hybrid” system that you’re talking about, has been shown in many posts here to be used by many top-tier coaches. Just read through some of the threads, don’t make me list the coaches. But there are plenty of coaches in college football that are successful that also do call their own plays either on offense or defense.

Again, this may or may not work for Manny, but it’s not some unheard of thing, some way out untested crazy theory that he’s implementing. It’s something that’s time tested and proven.

Thanks in advance for a better response next time.
The whole ‘alpha’ debate seems dumb, but since you’re engaged in it, please consider that there’s nothing particularly ‘alpha’ about a staff analyst role. The whole concept of tension with ‘alphas’ working for you implies they’re in a ‘line’ or command role. What tension or complexity comes from having someone with no direct reports analyze game tape and propose ideas to you?

It's not "regardless of how it got done" when the coach butt lickers are trying to ascribe some sort of genius to Manure for "firing" Blank and his other sons and then dopily mocking those of us who rightly were skeptical of Manure's ability to fire his sons.

He fired none of his sons, so those of us who were skeptical were right. Banda left for a DC gig. Patke is still stealing checks. And Baker was going to be on the staff this year until Orgeron rescued us. Facts. Yet there are guys prancing around here every day like fairies acting like Manure had some master plan and the guys who questioned his resolve to rid the staff of his dopey incompetent sons were wrong. We weren't wrong.

Sometimes, being lucky is better than being good, and Manure has spent a lot of his life being lucky. All I care about is my alma mater, so if he can finally manage to parlay his consistent luck into success on the field, then I'll be happy. I'm hoping it happens, but he's going to have to show me on the field. He's laid more eggs than a ***** hen between the white lines, so just making some good moves in the offseason isn't going to squash the rightful skepticism.

LOL at Shoop being some big bad alpha analyst. He's Manure's buddy, and he's working as support staff on Michigan's dime. There's some question whether he's even physically healthy after he disappeared at Michigan during the season.

Honestly, when your first name is TravARis, people are doing you a favor by calling you some made up nickname. The man is a couple letters away from being a real life T’Variusness.

Isn’t he a Yale Alumnus?

This board has been reduced to contending Manny’s an alpha stomping monster corch because he hires an ex-Eli who hasn’t lasted in a role for more than 3 years in his 30 year career.

The coach butt lickers have taken this place over in the couple weeks that I retired after the travesty. You'd think Manure was some ruthless assassin the way these boot licking degenerates are tossing his salad. What exactly has he done to deserve all of these accolades? Hired a great position coach then moved the worst recruiter in UM history into the recruiting department instead of just greasing him. Kept his 2 bum sons on staff only to be rescued by a drunken oaf who is doing his own hire/fire scapegoat dance. Failed to hire a DC and is going to attempt to spread himself into 2 roles when he couldn't even handle one.

Like I said, I hope it all works out because I'd rather win than have Manure continue along the path he's been on. But it's OK to not get sucked into the fairy frenzy of eating his *** for a couple good offseason moves (one of which wasn't going to happen but for pure luck).

I feel why you got skepticism and want to see the results on the field but if people excited ain't nothing wrong with that. You can criticize Manny bout somethings I agree but he does see a problem and try to get at it IMO. I give you Baker, he was still going to be on the staff but with other coaches he made moves. With oh boy going to Utah how do we know that wasn't his only option and the writing was on the wall here already? One thing our defense was good at with Manny was half-time adjustments when he ran it. So he takes action when there's a problem. Offense last year, the defense this year. He not just sitting around and you have to like that in coach that's all I'm saying and it's ok to be excited bout that but I understand you need to see results.👍🏿

The most preposterous stretch is your infantile brain not being able to wrap itself around rok's gamesmansh

This is what you came back for? Your retirement I guess was short-lived. Thank you as usual for your insight.

This place really does need your steadying hand
