You realize he hasn't hired a DC. Manny is the biggest yes man to Manny there is. He certainly isn't getting any challenge from his DC, Manny.

I just don't get how you all are circle jerking over this hybrid system were Manny tries to give 110% to two jobs, and everyone is in some kind of multi-role title. You think Saban's scared?

Can you respond to my post again, but this time with a response that has something resembling a semblance of logic.

People such as yourself were saying that Manny wouldn’t hire alpha types and wanted to be surrounded by yes-men.

I just delineated where he just hired a bunch of alphas, people that are going to tell him what they actually think, not yes-men. Several of whom have had prior DC experience, and who were specifically hired to provide their strong opinions, shared defensive planning, as well as their coaching.

So your response is to come up with some half *** idea that Manny reports to Manny? What the fūck does that even mean? Those guys I mentioned are just gonna be sitting around twiddling their thumbs?

Also, I’m not circle jerking over anything, I’m just pointing out that a bunch of people like yourself have been proven 100% wrong regarding who he would and wouldn’t hire. It may work, it may not work, but those retarded opinions about him hiring only yes-men, or not hiring alphas, has been proven conclusively wrong.

Additionally, this so-called “hybrid” system that you’re talking about, has been shown in many posts here to be used by many top-tier coaches. Just read through some of the threads, don’t make me list the coaches. But there are plenty of coaches in college football that are successful that also do call their own plays either on offense or defense.

Again, this may or may not work for Manny, but it’s not some unheard of thing, some way out untested crazy theory that he’s implementing. It’s something that’s time tested and proven.

I never said anything about Manny wanting yes men. I didn't even know that was an argument on here. I was just coming in at the end and saying if you are going to refute that, it's kind of funny that Manny has hired himself to be defensive coordinator, as there will be no power struggle there.

Look, most of you seem to think being a head coach begins and ends with recruiting in the off season, and has very little importance otherwise. Just get two coordinators and your good. Yes, other coaches take on other rolls, but Manny has barely been a head coach. He scares nobody. He's still learning on the job. Look at what UNC did to us with a real HC. Guys like Manny are the one's that need to spend 110% of their time doing that one job. Why actually hire a real DC when he can be that 50% of the time and HC 50% of the time? We always seem to be short something, a QB coach, a DC that can call plays, now a DC. We need a full time HC and a good full time DC. Not that hard. I guess we are so beat down by baker that anything without him is heaven sent?

You do realize he didn’t fire Blank Baker right? Or is this alternative Fluffer Facts you guys are now espousing unfettered since the moderates have stopped posting? Fact: Baker was going to be on this staff until that big drunk dope Orgeron bailed Manure out.

Manure was going to be DC and Blank was his game planner and still a member of the staff. He didn’t fire him and had absolutely zero influence on Orgeron hiring him. Orgeron liked Blank last year and still liked him this year. And guess who else was going to have him on his staff in 2021 if Orgeron didn’t throw him a life preserver? Yep. The guy you guys are celebrating for a firing he didn’t have the stones to make.

So, yeah. Celebrate the good fortune. Celebrate Manure hiring a couple great assistants after Orgeron took his son Blank off his tiny hands. But don’t get so lost in the haze of guzzling Manure’s zesty bath water that you lose track of facts because then I’ll have to stomp back here like a truth cop to set the record straight and urinate on your smoldering fire of alternative facts.

Manure is still the same guy who called plays situationally in 2020 but somehow decided not to call plays when his team was being historically sodomized by old man Brown. Listening to the Manure Munchers, you’d think he called plays during all the good defensive efforts but ghosted us during the horrible ones.

Keep prancing and flitting around like fairies prematurely celebrating like we won a NC, but the jury is still out on Manure as a HC whether you like it or not. If all that mattered was the off-season he’d be a perennial NC.

Why do many Miami fans refer to most of the staff by their real names except for DVD, T-Will and T-Rob?
White coaches are referred to like adults but some fans infantilize the new hires with hip-hop nomenclature.
Is this a racist practice, or am I reading into it a bit too much?

Maybe because thats what they want to be called? In interviews teammates and even they themself have used those names.

Why did you start calling yourself Rok and not your real name Rokulike??

You're reading into this too much.. this is what they choose to be called. T-Will's twitter handle is literally TWILL4REAL. DVD is a nickname he has had since his playing days. T-Rob same thing
