DT=strength(if healthy)

Williams good fit

T Howard will lock down a spot

Porter really needs to stay healthy for us. Him and Smith could be ridiculous together.

Another day.

Another practice review.

Another glowing write up about Rashaun Scott.

Another post with only an emoticon from SFbay dropping that subtle reminder that he was educating folks all winter on what they were about to learn about Rashaun Scott this spring.

Scott in particular has become the big play guy of the group. He caught a nice touchdown on a slant from Williams and continues to make things happen. As many of you will see in the open scrimmages, Scott is an impressive-looking receiver who passes the eye-test with flying colors. His hands aren't as reliable as the other three yet, but he is making spectacular catches on a consistent basis and can run with the ball.

:)

1. You people need to calm the **** down. Luke is just trying to look out for one of his own players at MNW. It's not a big deal.

2. McGee needs to be sent packing if he doesn't get his act together by the end of the spring. with the incoming freshman, he could end up more of a problem than an asset.

Luke bashes Miami on Twitter a lot so as other said **** him.

I remember reading about our offense last year and just kept thinking.....**** our defense is in deep ****.

I would expect our QB's and WR's to look good since our best DB's havent even gone to Prom yet.

It is disappointing to hear about McGee. Maybe he knows he isn't starting this fall. **** waste of speed.

Agree, can't blame the coaches. They have been brutally honest with McGee, trying to motivate him and he's not responding the way you hope a senior would when you hear Freshman are coming for your job.

Luke needs to get as far away from this university as possible.

Other than that, some good notes. Thanx DMoney

Great to hear about Porter. When healthy, he is our best DT. I think D. Smith will be solid, as well.

Have you heard anything about Olsen Pierre? I was really impressed by how big he looked at the open practice, and have been a fan of his from the get-go.

The middle of our D is shaping up nicely. Porter and Co. need to stay healthy. We'll have enough speed to stretch plays wide but I'm not sure we're 'man' enough to take pounding if teams run right at us. We can have a great offense if Seantrel and Johnson continue to improve. Those two as bookends would be huge for whomever is at quarterback.

If we get steady QB play, we might not be in as bad a shape as we originally thought. The rest of the team is rounding into shape. And even though they're young, not feeling too worried about the WRs

Yeah well, I remember when Golden was first hired and Luke was bagging on him because he hadn't yet been over to kiss his a$$.............

So I dont really give a rats a$$ about Luke opinion.

Is it my fault that his momma mis-spelled his name??? :p

the QB spot is the one I pay attention to the least in spring. You still look for certain things, but see it so many times where a QB is great when he knows he can't get hit. Things change in a big way though once they start feeling that pressure.

glad to hear Seantrel and Jermaine are looking good. It's all about that OL this year. Need them to come through.

and Asante's going to be special.

Agree on Pierre. Haven't heard anything since I saw him Sunday but I love his potential as an edge setter in our 3-4 looks.
