We have a much improved defense this year. So as long as the offense doesn't go ghost in the 2nd qtr, should be a blowout at half.

Score early and often, and they will be forced to start passing. Pick 6 City!

The defense is healthy and fresh after really only playing one game so far. They are beat up despite the long week after two tight conference games.

Perryman is licking his chops. I would eat a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ash tray the night before the game if I were one of the GT ball carriers and sit out with the flu.

The offense will have to just be efficient.

They'll get 300-400 yards but it'll be mostly between the 20's.

UM 38 GT 17

The only reason VT couldnt blow out GT was b/c their offense is beyond terrible even w/ Logan Thomas having a "good" game.... it had nothing to do w/ GT's defense imo.

Miami's offense is going to score at will, not as easy as against USF, but close, while this very disciplined defense, shuts down GTs "offense."

Miami - 40

GT - 17 ( they will score a TD on the 2nd string unit) Thanks, Al

Just put a camera on Chick all game long. He's going to put on a show.

This is from the 2011 game. I think the defense is better this year than it was then.

This game comes down to the front 4 and more importantly pierre, Porter, and Robinson. If they stop the inside dive by the B back then they'll be forced to run exclusively outside on us where our speed should contain them

VT has almost zero threat of a run game outside of Thomas running. Being that one dimensional made an undersized GT look better than they are. A balanced offensive attack will eat the bugs alive.

I agree. GT did not look impressive to me on defense at all. their DL is very small and got no pressure on Lolgan from what i saw.

GTs D may be better than last year but that isnt saying much

I don't usually get too bullish when it comes to the Canes, we've been let down a lot recently, but I'm expecting us to dominate GT on Saturday.

If they score more than 10 I'll be disappointed.

I'm in the same boat. So much changes from week to week in college football it's tough to get ahead of myself, but I feel like this is going to be a whoopin

I maybe mistaken but isn't the 3-4 defense perfect for this kind of game. You can put one of the middle linebackers as a spy on Lee. We clearly have the speed needed to control the outside. With a lb in the gap for the dive and two on the outside to cover the pass. Feel we roll with ease again

While Lee may be a better passer than Washington, he is not nearly as good running triple option. Most of Lee's passes are of the jump ball variety. He reminds me of Rix back there. Look for a big game from Jenkins. Bottom line is we have way too many athletes for them to be effective.
