Honestly, if we beat them last year with a far younger and worse defense on the road, we should be able to handle business at home

good stuff as always dan. canes win big in this one.

I swear to G-d, if one of our DL or LB or anyone gets injured because of a ******* cut by a GT OL, I'm going postal on those ******* losers.

Let's get an analysis again from a GT fan on cutblocking and what GT claims they are doing.

Read for about 30 seconds before I wanted to get in my car and drive to Atlanta and start shooting people

Hey I live in ATL...watch where you are aiming

Just stay off the Tech campus (I probably shouldn't post about shooting on college campuses from a college campus)

I don't think anyone would notice if you started firing shots here in Atlanta.

That's a good point

I think our interior line will take care of the dive. We have to be able to play on the perimeter. I'm not worried about our linebackers. They are all fast and physical enough to make an impact. We must be able to run support on the corners. Gunter will shine in this game, but we have to hope that Howard/Crawford/Burns strap up and get off their cut blocks, otherwise our safeties will be chasing pitches all day.

I see us improving our Turnover Margin further in this game. We get a few fumble recoveries and an INT or two.

This game is less about our D and more about our O.

Instead of worrying about whether or not we can stop the option, I just want to see us be efficient with the football. If we stay away from 3 and outs, and consistently score on every drive early on, we can make GT play catch-up, which the option isn't built to do very well at all.

Let's jump out ahead 21-0, not get complacent on D, and blow these mofos out like we should have last year in ATL.

Whoops...GT is know for turning the ball over so let's capitalize on it. Hit them hard and force fumbles just like we did against UF

Their OL just isn't going to get it done against good teams. Our D probably isn't as dominant as it has looked, but it doesn't need to be against them. They haven't been able to get a lot of movement up the middle against any team they have played, including Duke. They aren't going to be able to move Porter. They are going to have to try to beat us east-west, and that just doesn't work against a team as fast as we are. You have to be able to smash the ball North-South to have success running the ball against speedy teams. I think we are a lot better than GT, but even when we aren't, their style of play is tailor made for us.

I think a lot of us have forgotten that after GT raped us in 2008 in Atlanta 41-23.... we've blown them out 3 straight years in a row after that.

In 2009 33-17 Miami

In 2010 35-10 Miami

In 2011 24-7 Miami

Last year was our closest margin of victory in OT, 42-36 Miami, b/c of how terrible our team was defensively.... and we still won.

This game is going to be just like how it has been from 2009-20011, w/ more points scored on our end.

That 5.5 point line is downright disrespectful to Miami.

I'm probably overly confident about this game like many of you I feel we should convincingly beat gt. There is just nothing about them that makes me worry. Miami 34 gt 17.

Um, you did see the game last year right?
