Okay so did you see my question? If they think they've recruited better than us, the only logical thought is that they also would prefer their classes over ours......
Yeah I didn’t see it, just this one though now I have. I think I like some of the players they got over us last year. I think we’ve done better than them overall I guess but it’s not levels. It’s probably close.

Understandable.

My view is rather simple. Mario has been given more resources than any Miami coach ever. And here we are. Some think we are playoff caliber. Some think we will lose to ND,UF, UL and Pitt. But, no one has suggested that we will win number 6 with this group. In fact our “insiders” are conditioning us for recruiting disappointment and that is Mario’s supposed super power. Competition proves who you are. It is time for Mario to prove he is more than just “better than” the last guy.

The worst thing is despite all these resources Mario still cant get the job done. Whats going to happen if we have a subpar year? He gets canned, then replacement doesnt get the resources to even recruit adequately. If mario fails this season, Im convinced we will never win a natty. Sucks

I gotta see how the season turn outs before I really fire up the bulldozer. Right now, it seems the hires that should’ve been made are 3 years too late thought and that falls directly on Mario.

He’s not getting canned for years. There’s got to be close to $50 million left on his contract.

So I’m at the Morgan wallen concert and I saw Jason Taylor walked out with him and all I could think about is that he’s here instead of rebuilding the DT board.

I would have been thinking about alllll those big ole Kountryyyy Honky Tonk Badonkadonks ( an I am referring to the real ones, not those baby nugget butt checks some of these ladies are trying to pass off as juicy big country ***) at Hard Rock stadium.

At least we got a recruiter at the expense of gameday results

SFL kids are a different animal then kids from Bama/Louisiana/texas/mississipi etc. we aren't a city where kids are raised to have blind loyalty to Miami. A lot of these kids grew up Gator/FSU/Bama fans despite being from Miami, its just a front running type culture down here, they want to see SUCCESS.. its the same rszn half the ppl down here **** on the Dolphins & its why Ohio State/Bama can come down here n take 5stars with ease. crazy part is we've actually had MUCH better success recruiting top talent Nationally then in our own backyard, that should tell you a lot. #1 ranked generational WR recruit in the country was from Miami last cycle n i knew from the jump he wouldnt end up here lol. #1 ranked PLAYER OVERALL from butt**** Missouri and he reppin the U.
Florida & especially Miami was the same as those places we just fell off badly and the connection was lost while some of those teams kept winning in each era. Or now they rebuilt faster than us and added a crazy nil team

Id say it’s still better than most think we have landed alot of players here after the glory days because the logo still holds weight, and for us to even be considered for the top players in the country shows it imo but i know it doesn’t matter unless we land them

It’s just hard to battle the Texas/bama/georgia/osu when your selling point is hometown and their selling points are bag/natty/nfl, and now another layer is the conference realignment talk? Uphill battle like Dmoney said

What has A&M won the last two decades? ****, last 100 years. Recruiting ain’t about selling last wins, it’s about selling the vision of wins.

Cam just went 1.1, Miami was one win away from playoffs, if you can’t sell stock in the future right now, then idk.

But when I said “if we have a top 5 NIL, we must not recruit very well” it was a problem lol

... They also probably have spent close or even more than what we have too on HS recruits, I'd bet. Actually probably more on HS guys given they signed a 5star QB and we haven't. And that factors into the HS Recruiting rankings quite heavily imo.

We have been quite balanced between spending in HS and Portal. UF last year pushed a lot of chips in towards the end of the season, then basically didn't commit all that much to the portal, whereas we hit the portal pretty hard once again. So I think we probably spend more than UF in total, out of HS recruiting, I'd be surprised if we aren't very closer. Yet I do think we have clearly recruited better as a whole out of HS..

lol when I see these reactions to any of my posts, I feel even more confident that what I wrote was correct…. And if it happens to you, you all should too.

It was a retarded post. We got the #1 player in the country, and you call it retarded SOLELY because he's an OT. So if he was a DT it wouldn't be?

Recruiting is 90% about money.
