@DMoney Would we add 2 WRs while keeping all the guys committed?
Hypothetically let’s say we flip Lopez and Parris. Does that mean someone like Spafford would not be in this class?

Agree with you 100% about Latimer. I love his highlights.

He plays a lot like Mallory to my eyes. Big RB’s who are shifty getting through the hole, have the speed to get to the next level, cause problems to DB’s trying to tackle him, and run like natural RB’s (as opposed to Cooper to me who looks like a natural LB playing RB on offense because of how good he is athletically).
I believe Mallory can catch too.

I dont think there are enough points left to get to top 5. I think we're at 23 commits? We would have to do a considerable amount of processing out to make that big of a jump...and we would have to land the big ones (paulz) at the same time.

Might be another season outside the top 10...which doesn't matter since we're were outside of top ten last year, but hit big on a lot of em.
Think we will need to do just as we did last year: Balance investment between high school recruiting and the portal.

We’re going to have to reserve funds to land some studs via the portal for immediate contributions in 2026, so Top 5 high school class isn’t as essential.

We need another Top 5 portal class more importantly.

I think the strategy (in my view) is we reserve the big money for trenches and qb(portal until hs developes) and keeping our young players while they are developing. I can live with that...but evals have to hit 60ish percent or better to be sustainable.

what do you mean?
Clearinghouse will basically approve any deal by a public company, because they don’t need to go through the whole market value bs analysis. If a public company is offering that NIL deal it’s just assumed they have a valid business interest and it’s fair market value.

Its about **** time we're making the A a priority now! Especially, Buford, Grayson and Milton. If we get BPW, that would send this class to the moon for the next 3 years with the buford pipeline alone(fvck Kirby). Seen him play twice this year and he's unstoppable. Maybe we can drive 30 minutes down the road and flip Tyler Atkinson too.

We may end up with more kids from Metro Atlanta than S Fla by the time it’s all done.

I’m kidding, but not by much. You know what we say up here. A 3 star in Metro Atlanta is like a 5 star anywhere else. Which means our 4 stars like Latimer are actually 6 stars, which didn’t exist until I just made it up.
Jaden Harris is a 0 star which means in South Florida he's a diamond in the rough!

Yeah, I don’t think the concern is ultimate approval — something like 95% of submitted deals have been approved — but rather getting deals approved before signing day. I think you’ll see less last minute flips, in part because of the time to get deals approved.

Coaches are getting fired as the season goes. Classes and existing players will both be up for grabs in addition to regular flip opportunities. The moves are there, make them.

We used to have family in Stow. Definitely has some nice areas.
Any reason that OSU recruits Akron but not Stow?
Stow rarely has anyone Ohio State level, **** they don’t often have Kent State quality kids. They had a really solid running back/DB there about 15 years ago, he was undersized, but a beast. His name was Shawn Porter, us boxing fans know who he is. He played at Stow at around 180 lbs, which is crazy because he fought his entire career at 147 and had a borderline hall of fame run.
