It is. They lump him in with players he hasn’t played nearly as bad as too. But those same guys were drooling for Sam brooks who was worse WHEN YOU TURN ON THE FILM. I’ve seen the film. I’ve heard it broken down. Most of these guys haven’t so the eye test is all they got and I get it. It gets worse than Corey on this team lol
I just don’t get it. Kid does EVERYTHING asked of him. He stepped up when leadership was needed. He may not be the most physically gifted but he compensates in other ways. Always has. And he’s all about the team, not his personal gain. He deserves an open mind under the new coaching staff.

D -- I know people give you **** because you're sky high on everyone we sign, but I think I remember you being especially optimistic on Cooper (relative to his ranking), correct? I didn't/don't know much about him being an OOS kid, but I'm pretty sure I remember you saying he had an incredibly high ceiling and was strong as an ox.
That was me too. I want some credit too. :ROFLMAO:

Well. Yeah. Dade County, bro. He’s acccccchually a 5* anywhere else, so he can’t be bad

Last I checked in, Ryan Rodriguez was struggling to get more weight on. Other than size, any reports on how he's been...I get the token "he's good" on my end, but the weight is concerning considering who is in charge now.

Also, any update on Big Baby?
Seems Mirabal and Mario have moved on. If we get Samson Okunola those two will hit the portal IMO

What about Ian Symonette? Is he ever gonna develop into anything?

maybe.

but i think diego london is really pushing him for playing time (unless freeman brown overtakes them both)

Denis is recovering from injury which he missed most of last year and set him back this offseason. He can easily have a nice season next year once he is full recovered and developed. Patience.
Que- Ain't nobody go time for that gif

Sam Brooks was awful. Never saw the hype about him.

One thing I have confidence that improve for the overall team is the players understanding of the game, play recognition, concepts etc. Alot of times people blame physical ability for players problems, sometimes it is but alot of times it's lack of football IQ development. I seen slower players or similar ability players to Flagg make NFL roster and even became beasts. Making the NFL is one thing , you don't need to be a NFL player to be a good ACC LB or player.

Seeing a team who know exactly what they are doing in big moments is gonna be the
highlight of the season for me. It will start on the OL. I want minimum 5 long runs V BCC. And I'm talking 40+ yards.
This.

Besides speed, football IQ was the other key for JJ's (and most likely Butch's) recruitment evaluations. The system and development has to reinforce that once it's obtained.

Confidence is a weird thing especially with wr’s. A couple cats go off in these early season games it could spill over into the real games. The schedule sets up perfectly.
Which is why I always hated opening the season against teams like Alabama and LSU. Opening with BCC is as close to a preseason as we can get to let guys get some live game action and get some kind of rhythm.

Flagg and Ivey have done it again, my nightmares will become reality when they get matched up against 10.1 and 10.4 speed against texas AM.. FML.. Flagg and speed in same sentence is ******* LULZ..
Yea if he plays any significant minutes
I would be worried either our coaches are corches

In permanent ink. I thought the kid was going to be a big factor for us. Just have to accept some don't pan out.
Sucks. I'm surprised he's still here then and hasn't transferred. He has all the physical tools, what's holding him back?
