I still like Caleb Johnson to take over the top spot as he gets more familiar with the system, but I give it to you guys like I get it.
Is it concerning that it is a new system to both Flagg and Johnson and Johnson hasn't picked it up yet?

This is the WILLIAMS I’ve been calling for all year!!! Make it so!!!

Not a full-fledged Bank this week because most of this stuff has been publicly discussed, but here is the latest from sources very close to the situation:

- Mark Fletcher remains a serious flip candidate and it could come earlier in the season. The team envisions a Thunder and Lightning backfield with Chris Johnson, Jr., who is leaning strongly to Miami.

- We are a serious player for WR Tyler Williams. The competition is stiff and his visit will be critical, but the smoke is real.

- The keys to the season according to the inside view is staying healthy and making plays at WR. The hope is that success in the games will snowball into more consistency than we've seen at practice. Keyshawn Smith and Xavier Restrepo are taking charge at the position and Brashard Smith showed a lot of flashes late in camp. Restrepo, Tyrique Stevenson and Malik Curtis will battle at returner. A lot of people are eager to see what Curtis can do there, but experience gives the other two an edge initially.

- Corey Flagg has remade his body and made new fans on the staff. He is the leader of the group. His improved physical condition has unlocked more speed, which he needs for his game.

- The TEs are at full strength and will be a focal point of the offense. This is something we haven't seen all the way in scrimmages due to injury precautions, so the BCC game will be our first real look at the Gattis attack.

- Our offensive line has seven starter quality players- Zion Nelson, Jalen Rivers, Jakai Clark, Justice Oluwaseun, DJ Scaife, John Campbell and Logan Sagapolu. But there is an 8th name getting better every practice and pushing to get on the field already- true freshman Anez Cooper. We may have a steal there.

And while you are here, check out my 5th Annual Preseason Hype Pod if you haven't done so already:

Tyrique X and Curtis fwiw

Please get Stevenson at return man out my face.

We need Key and X to be big time. Hope Arroyo gets plenty of opportunities in the passing game. He is a problem for defenders
Stevenson will be playin at 200 and he has the most reliable hands of the three. This isn’t a high school football mindset anymore. It’s about getting it right the first time.

Stevenson isn't a return man at any weight. If he is just back there cuz he's safe then that says a lot about the others at the position. Also means we shouldn't expect any PR TDs again this season unless the blocking has improved exponentially

Denis can't contribute in his 3rd year of college football? Yikes... what was the point of even bringing him back?

How's thomas davis been since being moved to LB @DMoney

We’ll see. I’ve seen him kill it at Georgia and in practice here. When he was at the ridge he was good too. I’ll take safe with the ability to break one, over great and the ability to put one on the ground. He’s smart and fearless. X is solid too. I’m more afraid of him getting hit unnecessarily. We need him healthy for every game, except the bowl.

Denis is recovering from injury which he missed most of last year and set him back this offseason. He can easily have a nice season next year once he is full recovered and developed. Patience.
