They are very high on Homer

I can't wait for him to get his opportunity. No offense to Gus but he is awful and why he started getting carries over Yearby I didnt understand, if you were going to give someone carries it shouldve been Homer. Maybe it had something to do with with how unbelievable Homer was on special teams. The size, speed and tackling ability he is a dog and a old school ball player and excited to watch him next year.

Gus isn't awful. In limited carries there wasn't a huge dropoff from Walton. He was also an asset in pass protection.

The Gerald Willis stuff is not surprising. He had been rumored to be out first chance, but it definitely hurts. If he, Norton and Mcintosh all leave next year, we're in some trouble for the following year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kool go after a top JUCO DT for the next class.

We consistently have the dumbest players when it comes to making NFL draft decisions.

Gerald Willis was considering coming out this year? Is this real life?

Thanks for the info. Gus is no loss. He has done zero in 3 years. Courtel is a little bit of a loss as far as deep depth but oh well. Njoku isnt really considered a loss when he is leaving for the NFL. Good luck to him! He will probably be a starter day 1 in the league.

Willis is a head scratcher. Maybe I missed something but what had he done pre-injury to even think he had a chance to be drafted? This kid has so much hype but has not shown me much on Saturday.

Gus Edwards is still eyeing a potential graduate transfer to either Rutgers or Syracuse -- it would give him the chance to be more of the main option at a program close to home. He is set to graduate in May and would not be required to sit out.

Courtel Jenkins is another name to monitor when it comes to a possible transfer. He would not be a grad transfer, but it appears he is seeking more playing time -- Rutgers is a rumored program as well.

Gerald Willis was grappling with the idea for declaring for the draft this season, but ultimately knew he doesn't have enough film yet. Source said he played the second half of the season with a torn meniscus as well.

A few bowl game suspensions for the freshmen crew is coming. None of the main contributors, though.

The sense in the locker room is that David Njoku is 100% gone to the NFL draft. He has given the team every indication that the bowl will be his final game as a Hurricane.

Northeast boys!

Homer and McFarland as our 2 and 3 will be so fun to watch!

Trayone Gray will have say so in that

It's surprising he's still on the team, it would be shocking to see him contribute. The fact he wasn't returning kicks should tell you something.

The legend of Trayone Gray will either be confirmed, or dismissed after this coming season. If Gus does leave, Gray will be the "biggest" back on the team. The only reason for him to not find a role will be his talent. I'm pulling for the kid. I hope he balls out, and helps the team!

Peter Ariz what is the staff comfort level with QBs behind Kaaya? Have they improved enough?

The RB position is crowded so that's not a shock. Losing Gus wouldn't be a loss.

Losing Njoku sucks but for skill positions who can light up the combine it makes sense to get the NFL as quickly as possible. It's a competitive year for TE's but I'd agree that he's likely a 2nd rounder.

Jenkins is a solid player and one of our better run stuffers but our DL is very crowded. It would be great for him to stay for his last year but it makes sense to want to play as much as possible.

Njoku is a body Catcher who hasnt proved he can block yet at High consistent level like he needs to in the NFL.

Most draft sites have him behind Jake butt, OJ howard, Jordan leggett, in a loaded TE draft.

Wont lie, hate that we are losing Yearby but also excited we are losing Edwards. Homer needs the ball in his hands that kid looked like he was being shot out of a cannon each time he touched the ball. Walton is good but he still hesitates too much, cant wait for Homer now we need one of Burns/McFarland/Gray to step up all coming off injuries. Either way im excited about Homer getting a lot more carries next year

I agree, but he could have an impressive combine kinda like Burns where a team can see the potential.

I think there's a reason Kool has been visiting DL like crazy the last couple of weeks.

While McIntosh is a good player he is in no way close to coming out early. Norton I think could be a first rounder if he busts his butt in the offseason. Willis will be making an enormous mistake coming out and will receive a late round grade at best. He literally had no film and is small for his position.

2018 DT is looking bleak too

Why isn't the staff taking 2 or 3 DTs this year

2018 DT - If McIntosh, Norton, and Willis stay for SR year

McIntosh - Ford - Martin

Norton - Willis - Fines

2018 DT - If all 3 leave for NFl (Highly likely)

Ford - Bethel (Maybe moves inside)

Martin - DJ Johsnon (Maybe moves inside) - Fines

They are recruiting other Dts. I believe kool will land conliffe a 4 star dt out of va.

Norton is no where near a first rounder either. None of those guys dominated a single game. They all show flashes and overall played well together but none just dominated.
