I just assume that when you call kids "typical four-flushing option-weighing weasel" or talk about "Fck all that fake bullshyt talk about weighing options" I will assume like many others that you're emotional but I guess you're not

If you comprehend what I wrote, I never called him any of those names. That goes to my point on reading comprehension.

If you go back to what I WROTE I said "WHEN YOU CALL KIDS "typical four-flushing option-weighing weasel" and it wasn't just meant for Kaaya but also to Cook, Lane, Powell, Yearby, Valentine, CJ Hampton, Artie Burns, and Gus so you contradict yourself because you love some of the guys we actually flipped and want some of the guys who are committed but are showing interest. Come on now I know you read what I said

Are you guys breaking up?

Nah. I like that dude.

Lol we're cool its just **** lets wait and see what happens because I dont even think he leaves

It is his life to do with as he and his mother want. I have heard a lot of kids say "that is the offer I wanted" but then commit elsewhere. They use offers as some sort of measuring stick. It seems almost like baseball cards in a collection. Or the rep on this site. They have some form of value. Like getting all the hot chicks' number while intending on asking only one out.

I do think he is coming here, but I agree the latest statements make it less certain. I bet Coley and Al have another back up plan. If fact, the had one qb decommit, so they can go out an offer another as it is. I am looking forward to Brad being a Cane, but the Gold train waits for no man so I hope Brad is not looking around the station and gets left behind.

I have more faith in this staff than I ever expect to. Remember we got hosed by a certain LB in2013; does it look like we are missing him? Did some DT flip; did we need him against the gator? Staff never rest, you can bet they have someone else's picture up on the board just in case.

I stated a couple times in this thread that I don't know if he's going to de-commit or not, and UM will win with him or without him. All my comments in this thread are based on hypotheticals and my experience of cutting through bullshyt.

Man, the last 10 years has really given a lot of UM fans a huge inferiority complex. This young man has done nothing to deserve having his commitment questioned. He's been nothing but high on Miami and our coaches from day 1, even actively recruiting for us. Every commit we get will have other offers, some of which could be flattering and attractive to consider. Kaaya is no different and i for one am glad that other schools recognize his talent. Says volumes about our coaches as recruiters and talent spotters.

In the long run, until they actually sign on the line, no recruit is guaranteed to play for the U. You doubters need to take a deep breath and abandon all your conspiracy theories in trying to decode his and his Mother's statements and be happy he's a current commit. Nothing he or his Mom has said indicates to me he is going to decommit. He seems about as or more solid to me than most of our other commits. Give the young man the benefit of the doubt and trust his word for now. He does not deserve anything less.

The reason the QB position is different than all the other positions on the field is because most top level QBs commit very early. And most stick with their commitments. That's why guys react the way they do when you're talking about the #1 QB in our class combined with the fact that it's actually fairly late in the process when it comes to recruiting blue-chip QBs. Losing your #1 QB this late in the process is a lot tougher to overcome than losing a LB.

I give him 2-4 weeks before he flips to UCLA. It's not a situation like DJ Williams where he chose us after offers from a lot of schools. We were his first and only big offer. He doesn't seem like a DeAnthony Thomas, Ronald Powell type kid who is confident enough to venture out of his comfort zone, but we'll see.

Can someone fill me in?

Has the sky fallen yet?

Our tough guy fan base is acting like ******* because Kaaya got offered by UCLA and didn't spit in Jim Mora's face. Now he is going to decommit and is scared to move away and stuff.

I don't think he's going anywhere. I think he comes to UM. My hunch.

Would love to have him here.

Got faith in this staff is he chooses to stay home.

That's about it.

Yall dont have to act like its a bad thing that Kaaya has another BCS offer from a legit school.....

UCLA is still going to have to recruit Kaaya, and build a relationship w/ him and his family the same way Miami had too. I think it's 50/50 b/c of location but i'm not panicking over it, i'm glad he got another offer, just shows you how good of a QB recruit James Coley is.

Whoever wins the recruiting battle will land Kaaya, so chill the **** out. Its not like Miami got a bunch of scrub *** recruiters on the team, i think they know what they're doing.

FWIW Thomas HAD TO LEAVE. He wanted to go to usc, but it wasn't safe.

We just need to keep winning, be an ACC title contender this year. UCLA will be irrelevant again after Oregon and Stanford game

the more i think about this the more i agree. we will be fine either way.

it's easy to see the recruiting newbies and the recruiting veterans in this thread.
recruiting newbies--"man, why you guys questioning him? he said he is still committed to UM, in essence and at this time"

I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem good. I felt the same way about Matthew Thomas last year after he refused to use an official here, and said he took his Mom to FSU to show her everything was "ok and good for him."
